Keith: The Polo GTI gets a good look in, on that review you posted on the Golf R thread :)

Sounds like they rate it above a Golf GTI!

Guess the  uprated Golf GTI will be coming to the  soon.

Hi all   Gave the Polo a quick single wash yesterday - don't want to do too much work as I have the car being detailed next week and want to leave the paintwork as untreated as possible until then.

Mate, when your previous car was a 60bhp Citigo, believe me the Polo GTI is "blistering"

I know Tom. It last for 1hr approx. A snap shot in time of the 28 GTI's. Similar to Audi. Individual car is easier. The Website is dynamic,as soon as a change happens the snap shot goes "tits up"

Taking delivery of my Polo GTI on the 19th October, 3 weeks earlier than expected! I'll

Sounds good to me. Look forward to your updates. Enjoy your ownership and have fun.

Was looking at a brand new Polo GTI today at the dealers in that nice blue. Looks really nice,I nearly bought one before they revealed they had a Golf R I could buy.

Ironically I thought they looked a bit boring at first but the more I see them, they get more addictive. My favourite colour is pure white, just looks so crisp and clean.

Enjoy the new car :)

Let us know when you do! I'll likely have placed my order by then, but it'd be good to hear your thoughts. I've just gotta decide on colour before I place!

I definitely will mate along with lots of pictures! I went with the Flash Red simply because I think it matches it so well with all the red GTI styling, that and I really didn't want another black car!

Everything I've read so far is positive. UK POLOS have a 100 page+ thread of owners which is worth a read!

Well after having it so far I can say I am very pleased! Cracking little car, pulls really well from low down in every gear and keeps on pulling! Averaging around late 30's at the minute which is pretty decent for a brand new car of this type. Very impressed with the LED lights. I didn't find a need for high beam at all on a completely un lot road. The driving position is also very comfortable and the ride also isn't overly harsh at all (I spec' the sports pack). Only thing I could pick out which is a very small thing is the light switch illuminations reflect off the window into the drivers side mirror but like I say, very nit picky. The flash red is lovely!

Looks good. Enjoy!!

Amazing prices with them showing on 3 & 5 Door Manuals and DSG.

Starting at under £16,000.

Thousands of quid less than a new Polo GTI cost 4-5 years ago when they thought they were the bees kneez.

Odd that the last recent engine 1.4TSI had 190 ps & as quick if not quicker than the new 192ps cars,

but are Tepid & not Hot.

(& what is the point of checking out other Polo Boots, when the GTI is different, the Battery is in it.)

£23k on a Polo, must be mad IMO too much money for me to justify especially with that horrid retro inside. Much prefer leather and heated seats.
