Where do you put your change

Featured Replies

So another where do you put your thread.

This time I'm asking about coins, there's not really a handy spot without hearing them jingle everywhere, I'm using the phone holder which came in the cup holder but again jingles all the time

I'm not allowed money

We only have notes in West Sussex  !!! (only joking_

You gotta have a place for change especially for those stupid parking meters!

In my pocket when I've got some coins but I do put them in the coin holder/ ashes thing I got

Have you seen the prices VETS charge ?

I put them in the small storing area under the light switch.

It is lined with felt, so a few coins don't rattle.

The only time I make sure I have cash available is when visiting the UK or France. Maybe Skoda are ahead of the curve by being prepared for its retirement :)

I currently have a coin cup like this on my Volvo:

I guess I'll have to try if it fits the cupholder on the Octavia, if I can't find a similar option for it.

In the storage bin under the armrest. Perfect place. All my change goes in there. Handy storage spot.

You don't have teenage children?  You can't have if you have change !!

Amazingly no I don't

Just buy a little wallet/purse and keep it in your glovebox. That's what I do

I put my coins for car parks meters in the rear ashtray..

I put my change in a 50ml Falcon tube in the glovebox. Euro coins fit perfectly, no rattle. But I guess a bit difficult to get if you are not working in a lab.

RNLI Box

The pulldown box under the lights switch is my favourite but definitely reccomend the falcon tube method if you work in a lab, multitude of uses in the car!

I have a guitar in the boot. I busk if I need small change.

Little coin purse in glove box so always out of sight - started with my first car, same purse, still works.

What would the other uses be? The OH brought home a bag of 'expired' ones from her lab, she insists they'll be useful. Apparently she was right.  :dull:
