410bhp through just the front wheels would be horrendous I'd imagine.

Imagine it with a loaded boot and a cycle carrier on the towball, and Skoda OEM tyres fitted!

So we have the GTI Clubsport announced but not launched or selling yet, now today we have the

 

GTI TCR Restricted to 20off unit already sold.

However, after all the willy waving of 2014/15 no news at all about a volume production sales for R400.

 

So VW , put up or shut up in relation to the anticipated R400,don't keep potential punters hanging.!!

They have to have their annual meeting and show the accounts which are without doubt very very bad and what they have available needs spending on the top trumps Bugatti. At the moment they are trawling the archived and showing concepts that were dropped and now need flashed to distract the general public from the elephants in the VW board room.

So has anyone on here ,heard OFFICIALLY  from VW / VAG ,that production of the R 400 mk7 has been scrapped. However ,that  being said,will it be the basis of the an R mk8 in 2017/18.???
