Last year I nearly ordered a Yeti Elegance with a lot of options. One was the Amundsen navigation. Someone collected my Tig today so I need to order a Yeti. I realise it will take about three months!

Most of the options have gone up in price but the Amundsen price hike seemed excessive..... I found out why..... It's a completely new unit with larger screen, usb slot etc etc. The only way I noticed was by having last year's brochure and this year's side by side.

The new unit looks a great improvement from the old VW RNS 310/315

My impression, out here at least, is that there just isn't much 'promotion' of the improvements with the new model and the 'site' is disappointing......almost as if they want to sell you a different vehicle.

I get the feeling that a new model is not far away and saving their advertising $/£ for that......at least they are actually acknowledging the existence of Yeti compared to the original.

Perhaps if they changed the pictures in the brochure, even just on the cover, you could see its a new brochure with some upgrades to the vehicle..... Or perhaps a page listing major upgrades?
