Well, the day is almost upon us & my Mrs & me are looking forward to this run, she has checked the weather forecast & it looks a bit drab, nothing we can do about it, so we are going to make the most of it.

We are also looking forward to meeting & chatting to people as well.

I'm doing a recce this weekend hopefully, with the aim of identifying a few cafe/regroup stops en route, and also a place to have lunch in Llanidloes. I'm thinking the Royal Head, there is a large car

Hi guys. I know it is late in the day, but I just put together this. It is where I will be going tomorrow *this is not an organised route or road run*

 

 

Co-Op Llandovery: SA20 0RA

 

Head north on A483 to Beulah

 

Pick up the B4358 towards Newbridge of Wye

= REGROUP: TEXACO garage =

 

Left on A470 to Rhayader

 

Cross over the roundabout with A40 to Aberystwyth

 

Left on B4518 into Llanidloes

= Regroup in The Groe: SY18 6AB =

 

Continue on A470 to Newtown

= REGROUP: TESCOS car park: continue through town and it is on your left: SY16 1DW =

 

Left onto A483 to Llandrindod Wells

 

Continue to Builth Wells

= REGROUP: Burger King: LD2 3SS =

Great day out with you all. Finally got home at 18:30, having done 456 miles. I'd filled up before starting down on Saturday, and the fuel light came on this evening half a mile from home!

Glad you got home safely and with fuel to spare!

It was great to meet so many lovely Skoda owners. I look forward to our next group meeting, wherever that is.

I'm just uploading my pictures now. I am glad that everyone got home safely. Hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves - I certainly did. It was great to get out and go for a drive for no other reason than to enjoy driving - been a long time since I have done that. My thanks to Steve for organising the event despite not being able to attend and Graham for the pub recommendation. 

 

So, when is everyone free for the next one? I believe the EVO triangle is looking appealing...

Yes - a big thank you to the enthusiastic organisers.

I would definitely want to do the Evo triangle, but couldn't do this until after 18th June. Any weekend after this would be OK for me.
