Auto Perfection - information

Thanks for sharing that buddy! The 2nd photo shows some lovely gloss on the wing.

I know its a bit of a boring and predictable question, but here we go. What have the guys from Auto Perfection said about durability?

Hi Neil - it is advertised as a show wax and Arron says 2-3months is the best to expect on this.

For Alan, myself and a few others - that is plenty good enough as we apply wax often and regular.

Nice to see you placed an order for a sample - definitely worth a try chaps

  • Well as promised a review into the wax, goes on very easy but uses quite a bit, and the tub showed cracks like dying  out even though 4 degrees air temp, panel temp was 3.2 . Really easy to buff off,

  • On their Facebook page bud. Just send him a pm on there. Same cost as a few bottles of ale, and I've been dry for January so i deserve a treat!

I'm happy with 2 to 3 months to be honest pal. Arron has already got back to me. I'm really excited by small businesses that are launching their own waxes. Always prefer to give them my money, it's nice to support small British enterprise!

Where did you get the sample from out of interest?

  • Author

Just to say chaps - if there is a keen interest; Arron has said he would help/support with running a Group Buy.

I'm not sure how many on here would take this - but let me know; or post if interested - and we can look at it in the coming months.

Yes yes yes I would like please ha

Group buy is a sound idea, the samples couldn't get much cheaper with postage though. I feel like I'm having his trousers down at £7.

Ok - i cannot get a lower price on the £50 pots; especially as it literally has just launched.

BUT

I can perhaps get sample pots at £5 each for 30ml; the saving would be to add this on my GB for wax applicators - and save postage.

Just an idea - thinking on the spot.... so i'll leave it there for now.

BTW - Alan..... Arron was well impressed with the pics on the R36 Biscay Blue - thanks buddy

I'd be more than happy for it included in GB at extra cost :)

I will buy a full tub when released

Me too after looking at your pics, I'm hoping he does an introductory group buy.

BTW - Alan (@blueR36); can you give an idea how far the 30ml sample will go...

You've waxed the R36 once.... another twice round a car that size perhaps or less?

Used a third on the full car

Just to update chaps......

10 x 30ml sample pots of Intensify being packed now - thanks Arron and Dale at Auto Perfection!

They will be in the post by the end of today and should be available for inclusion in the Applicators GB - should anyone be interested.

This little treat turned up today. A nice little letter with brief instructions on and a bit of info about the product. Plus a couple of stickers for the detailing cupboard. Looking forward to goving it a whirl. It has a pleasant minty smell and should spread nicely after running my finger over the top of it.

Looking forward to trying this!

You got an extra sticker!! Devastated! Hahaha

Seriously, the wax applicator is a nice touch. Are they easier than the normal round ones to use?

I'm not really a big fan of the finger mitt applicator; but each to their own i guess.

Just personal preference i think. I do prefer something that avoids inducing hand cramps primarily.

So of late - i've switched to the "puck" style blocks and applicators for wax.

Thanks for that buddy, which puck style applicators do you use? I've looked at the Auto finesse wax mate, are there any cheaper ones?

The AF wax mate is good if perhaps just a little too small for my liking.

One you should try is the KKD Black buffing block; at least 2 people recommended this one to me.

I must admit - its a great product. dense but soft foam and the block shape is easy to hold and fills the palm of your hand.

I supplied both of the above in the recent Applicators Group Buy and got Briskoda members a small discount.
