Cant imagine I will need one , our roads arent great but they dont have grass in the middle like in Ireland

You must have the same sat nav as me..I'm convinced there's a setting somewhere that says 'only use roads with grass in the middle'

Really agonised over the choice of wheels on mine...Wanted to go for the 19's after seeing one in the Skoda Dealers in Swords but they were removed from the options list before I could...Decided to stick with the pictoris after looking at all the secondhand VRS's (2013/2014) on carzone.ie and realising that Pictoris seem to be the rarest wheels....Still woulda loved the Xtremes though...Damnit

 

I wonder would either of us be so confident if we were in west Cork?  The 19s look really good and I'd say would be great fun on a windy, twisty road..!

 

Also - am surprised they don't offer the 17s here considering the typical irish roadway!

Picked mine today! 

WOW, SOOOO happy with it. Had a 2013 but the Mark 3 is nice to look at and drive without a doubt.

 

 

 

 

This post by Aidangill has swung me. I'm just off the phone with the dealer. They upgraded my order with black pack + anthracite wheels. 

 

They couldn't verify right now if the change was accepted but the order's only two weeks old. I'd be surprised if it wasn't accepted. I'll find out by Monday but does any know if there's a chance it may be rejected? Either way I'll be happy!

Spoke to the dealer during the week...Mine is in the country and should be in the dealership next week...Will still have to wait until my current lease is up though so may be looking at 1-2 months

MidVRS - Nice!! Will you be going to admire it in the meantime? Make sure she's cared for in a manner similar to a 5-star hotel..!

If your car doesn't come with one as standard, order the spare wheel, its very expensive after delivery and if you don't have one you'll need it, if you have one you'll probably never need it.

No idea...I didn't order the VRS mode button...As far as i know its standard on UK cars which is why there is a lot of people on here that seem to have it but not standard on Irish spec cars

 

I'll drop over to the dealers if I can to take a look...I'll keep ya posted

I'm fortunate in that the spare (dinky) wheel comes with the VRS here. I'd crack up if they told me I had to do with that bottle gizmo!

 

Would love to know about the sound generator. Dealer wasn't sure and I've e-mailed Skoda to see if they know. I've heard it can be annoying but it would be a nice little toy to have.!
