It would appear that the RNS 510 is not the original unit and that the video in motion has been enabled to watch DVDs on the move.

The car also appears to have a Parrott CK3100 Bluetooth kit installed, but there is no power to the Bluetooth kit and the aux socket is working in the vehicle so I am assuming it has been disconnected from the back of the RNS 510 unit.

I have looked at the Ross Tech wiki and can confirm the that the workshop code is not showing all zeros.

I have taken an adaptation map and can provided this if required?

Is there anything else that I need to check?

Any assistance you may be able to afford me would be greatly appreciated.

Is there anything obvious when you go through the individual coding screens, the rns510 knows it is incorrectly coded, so it is looking for another module or function that isn't present.

Can you grab a screenshot of each byte of the coding and post them up?

I would disconnect the wiring harness for the BT kit and get the RNS510 sorted first, then worry about the parrot kit afterwards.

Are there any errors on other modules, especially CAN Gateway?

Andy,

No fault codes stored in CAN Gateway.

I've emailed adaptation / block maps and original scan of the vehicle.

I'll pop the RNS 510 unit out later to ensure that the BT kit is not fitted.

Thanks.

Grab me screenshots of each byte of the coding and paste them in to a word doc and mail them over.

I'm out of practice on the old platforms LOL I hardly ever see one now, spend all my time on MQB so have forgotten all the tricks for the earlier stuff :)

Screenshots inbound.  Couldn't get the RNS out using the special tools - RHS would release but LHS would not budge - so I cannot confirm if the Parrott is still plugged in.
