I think they are standard across mainland Europe, but not in the UK.

I think they are standard across Mainland Europe simply because it is a legal requirement to have them, however here in the UK there is no legal requirement to have one so they are not supplied.

That was my assumption as well :)

My warning triangle was £3 from Home Bargains and fits perfectly in the straps/cutout in the boot of the estate. Looks pretty similar to the VW/Skoda one in Gabbo's post.

i bought a showroom model of my octy which was 3months old when i got it, after a week i realized i didnt get a triangle which i thought should be mandatory, went back to the dealer and they gave me triangle, first aid kit, and high vis vest all skoda branded for free :) guess i was the lucky one :)

As far as i know it isnt unless youre a taxi driver

I don't suppose you have the part number on the warning triangle do you, as I have a MK2 one, which doesn't fir there and the dealer can't seem to locate it.

I found one for a lot less than skoda were asking, looks like it's the same to be honest :)
