Awesome day! Haha, I've had a white car, never again! Nightmare to keep clean, although the vRS was in quite a state... oops!

Looks great now though! Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the comment mate.

I know my usual wash n wax pics must get boring for regulars on here. :giggle:

Every so often i do try and mix it up a bit....

I should get the DSLR soon for a good photo session on the Z4 really.

Still smiling about it now. It really does put a smile on your face!

Having never driven a RWD car before let alone one with 340hp & oodles of torque, it may have been a good idea yes haha!

Awesome car though mate! You had me looking at a Cayman S last night... oops!

hahaha - glad you had fun.... well glad you can laugh about it now at least.

Nothing wrong with feeling the fear now and then...... its good to know where the limts are! ;)

Ohhhh Cayman sounds nice.... so you are after a proper sports car, not the hairdressers car as AJ would say!

It's a good feeling being on the edge!

There's some cracking cayman S on the market at the moment, as with the Boxster S too.

I'll have to see how things pan out with the vRS next year. I'm using the work Van most of the time now so a nice sports car would be ideal.

After driving he Z4 yesterday I can see myself having Alot of fun in one!

  • 2 weeks later...

Got the wheels off the R today, first time in its 8k driving history, for a full decon and seal.

Decon'd with mixture of Powermaxed TFR, surfex HD and korrosol prior to soaking in Tardis. The wheel barrels remained covered in contamination so out came the BH clay to deal with the remainder.

A coating of protect n shine followed by BSD finished off the rims. A quick dab of solution finish on the VW centre cap enriched the black nicely. Tyres dressed with endurance gel and all sorted.

The tyre cleaner looking like it's doing well!

Certianly seems to do it's job Karl. Leaves a good clean surface for tyre dressing

The brush is good too - but i'm happy with my Vikan version for now (esp at half the price).

The Vikan brushes are great for the money. I have the interior one & have used yours on various detailing days!

I had some of the thin angled brushes at one stage but think I misplaced them when I moved.. still, cheap enough to buy when the bargins are on!

Which pressure washer Ste? I'm loving my new purchase.

Managed to grab some time to give the vRS a maintenence clean and interior valet. She's certainly got the winter glow!

Finished with Bouncers Done & Dusted. Interior finished in Auto Perfection Dashing. 20161128_151326_zps96t4qsbb.jpg20161128_151350_zpsvxr8tjdz.jpgFB_IMG_1480344691468_zpssd5udb7l.jpg20161128_151416_zpsk6ikkdcv.jpg

Oops.. bet that's driving you crazy! These dark nights don't help though not being able to detail in the evening!
