Will be covered in dust in the morning, but at least she looks nice in the setting sun!

Black cars eh?  Ours looks lovely for five minutes then it's got a layer of dust/sand/pollen on it. Mind you, those five minutes of admiring all the hard work are worth it.

You're not wrong. But they come up well when done right. Loving the Ignis by the way, you've got it looking spot on!!

Had two hours this morning to give my new purchase a hand wash, tcut and colour seal and enjoyed the results!

Treated my car to a wash today nothing fancy just Turtle Wax shampoo and Simoniz QD for a shine and she came up looking lovely for a 9 year old motor

Fabulous job.

A full decon of this 05 plate Audi A3 revealed decent enough paintwork, albeit there were many imperfections.

The bonnet was machine polished using m105 and m205 to remove many imperfections, the remainder hand polished with SRP and sealed with BSD.

Really enjoyed doing this one.....A 12 plate Mini Countryman. Horrendous colour for showing imperfections.... Lots of swirling, spider webbing and RDSs. Machine polished with m105 and m205 again to good effect.

The Golf finally got the much needed TLC today......full decon with BH Autofoam and my new mix (korrosol, BH Surfex and water in equal parts) for glass, paintwork and wheels.

Clayed boot and rear end as this area still contained bonded contaminants before one step machine polish of same.

Applied a good coat of BH double speed wax to paintwork, including doors shuts, and wheels. Tyres cleaned with APC, thanks Ste and Neil, before dressed with Megs Endurance.

Would've liked to have applied a second coat of wax but ran out of time. Today's experiment.....all windows sealed with same wax, bar windscreen of course.

Cheers buddy! Clayed & polished the glass and wiped several times with IPA to ensure it was clean and free from any oils or anything so hopefully got a decent bond.

I've seen around 5 months from Angelwax H2GO - used it not so long back and it was awful to use... I'm sure it's 'gone off' or something along those lines as I used to highly rate it as you well know.

Interesting on H2GO; as i know a lot of the guys rave about it.

Sounds like it might have been bitten by the frost, or left with the cap not fully tightened?

Still - glad you moved onto the G5.... i really rate it.

Yeah it's a weird one! Be down to me not storing properly I think mate.. I did loose the original cap so made do with what I had which won't have helped in the slightest!

Well - a busy detailing day yesterday..... the rain subsided about 12noon.... so i made a start on our 2 cars.

Then just as i was finishing, had a visit from a work colleague who has just moved in round the corner.

Not yet setup for detailing duties - he asked if i would help clean up this beauty....

....hard to say no.... absolutely gorgeous..... wash, de-tar and QD top-up!

He doesnt trust his car with anybody.

When its booked in for a service - he takes the day off work to shadow the mechanics and hang around the workshop!!! :giggle:
