  • I'll be using Autohaus Dolby after Bickerton quoted way over the odds for a small job yesterday (3 times the cost!), brilliant service from the little independent too!

Would agree with most of the positive comments about this lot. Haven't been a long standing customer, however things like pricing and quality control seemed to have slipped a little from the time I st

Looked around my mums fabia that she picked up from them today........couldn't believe my eyes, the indicator lever was really really thick in black thick old gunk from who ever owned it last grubby hands, the drivers seat belt was absolutely disgustingly filthy.....I'm surprised my mother didn't pick up on this before she handed the cash over.

The sales man noticed when she was getting in the car to leave and said oh they haven't cleaned it properly.

I'm not joking I still can't get over it.....shocking.

I'm on my second car from Bickertons and would recommend them.

My first car from them was an approved Fabia, the sale was very well managed and they serviced it for me without problems for three years.

The Fabia was then traded for a Roomster, from another dealer. However Bickertons serviced it for me , again for three years.

Finally they took the Roomster as part-ex for my current Rapid.

It goes without saying I have paid them over the years for their work, but I have never felt uneasy about any of their work, advise or prices. They have always been helpful and practical with advice.

Sales team, I have dealt with Jeff and Tony.

A thumbs up form me.

Ordered new Superb Mk3 from Fiona @ Bickerton's.  Excellent experience.  However the only (very slight) disappointment, was that Bickerton's don't allow choosing of number plates apparently, (Hayselden Doncaster did!).  Not that it makes much difference, but its one of those things that make purchasing a new car (for me) an extra special experience.

Not picked it up yet, so will post reveal images etc when I do.

Bickerton are now known as Rainworth.

I'm on my second Karoq and I'm currently waiting for an Enyaq.

Communications have seemed to be lacking for some time. If you phone and the department is busy, the receptionist tells you they'll call back. Sometimes this happens in a couple of hours and sometimes it is a couple of days.

Had a service done on the Karoq this week and the car wasn't washed. The screen-wash was supposed to be topped up, but when I washed the car, I found the screen-wash still needed refilling. As I had not had to reposition the driver's seat, I then started to think the car had not been serviced. So I checked around the engine bay and the dusty engine bay showed no finger prints and the oil was black even though the car had done less than 30 miles since the service. So, I called them- usual wait for call back 4 hours. Service assured me that the service had been done and that apparently oil goes black quicker than it used to now. Can't say I'm happy but I can't prove anything.

Still waiting on new Enyaq- 18 weeks now and no build date

@Snowglobe another reason to simply mark the old filter (sharpie etc) if you don't have confidence with your service provider

My Kodiaq went into Rainworth on Friday for a couple of software updates and they must have mentioned 3 times that they no longer wash cars when doing any work. It's part of their Eco drive to save water.
