See this thread - An apology to Skoda - for a similar, but much lower cost occurrence.

We had a mouse in our Superb and a rat in my Fabia , little bugger ate the coil wires !

Very common apparently

Brilliant, enjoyed watching, thanks for the find :)

I winder if they had any screws left over afterwards...

I wonder how much the bill was!

Jesus clips, Jesus where's that gone !

Disgusting, no wing covers on removal, We would get f***ed if our service manager saw us without car protection fitted, Thought Audi would know better.

I thought the same as the covers only appeared near the end!

I worked at Portbury Docks for a few summers - they have a problem with rats getting in the cars (engine bays mostly) and chewing brake pipes and mounts - all sots of stuff.  Alot have work done before they go on to dealers.

I always wondered how many warranty claims were due to rat damage at the docks.

You should have taken your pooch to work with you. When I was a lad, we had a Jack Russell Terrier and he was a cracking little ratter!

There is a French film in which a young man is flying as a passenger in a plane when it force lands with an engine problem. For some reason he ends up fixing it and off they go again

At some point the engine starts running rough and the man discreetly looks into his pocket... ..Full of the parts he did not know how to refit [emoji2]

he he - I just know what I'm like...   many times I've reassembled something then found an odd screw left over that I've missed so end up disassembling again to fit it...
