Can anyone tell me if Skoda and other vehicles under VAG umbrella alter the DSG for RH drive versions?

 

I'm curious as I noticed whilst driving today in Tiptronic mode you have to push the gear lever to the left to engage manual gear changes, but is this reversed for LH drive vehicles i.e. do you push the gear lever to the right or is it configured the same?

 

 

I fairly sure it's push to the right in left hand drive cars.

My LHD needs a push to the right to engage manual mode.

Push to the right as well.

You always have to push it away from the driver to enter manual mode.

Unless Im mistaken?

The wheel nuts on Australian cars tighten up anti-clockwise to offset the antipodean Coriolis affect which naturally loosens them.

I'm surprised you asked really since they did not bother moving the handbrake for the RHD models on the Mk 3.

Hang on, I read the question and responses wrong, so they DID reverse the access to manual selection on auto boxes between RH and LH.

My bad! My apologies.

Manual gearbox changes are not reversed though are they? 35 years since I hired a car on the Euro continent and I'm sure it was the same as a RH Driver.

Manual gearbox shift patterns are same whether you standing on top of the world or hanging on upside down at the bottom.

Yes, and also the same shift pattern for those guys, driving on the wrong side of the road.
