So my car is down as "Exit production Factory" 17/8/2016  anyone know how long shipping usually takes?

First time Skoda buyer and relatively new to the forum.

 

Ordered Octavia Estate vRS TDI CR (Lots of options) on 13th June 2016.

 

We've been advised by the dealer that the build week is currently showing 31 which he said was the last week of July, so looking for a September delivery.

 

Just to update that the car was delivered this week after being bumped up the build schedule slightly. Not collecting til 01/09 as wanted the 66 plate!

Ordered a bed TDI 31/05/2016 and have been told I'll have it next week

I ordered my Octavia Estate 1.4 TSI 150 SE manual on 18th April 2016 and it will be delivered to the dealer on 4th September 2016.  Not sure about the build date.

 

I did agree to delay it though to get a 66 reg so not sure whether the delivery date was influenced by that or it just happened to sneak into September anyway.

 

I was originally quoted a 12 week order > delivery duration.

I think everyone was quoted 12 weeks, regardless of how long it would actually take.

 

I'm looking at >5 months from order to delivery for a vRS230.

Ordered my 1.4 TSI SE L estate on 8th August with a lot of extras. Been told early November, but suspect this might be the standard 12 weeks, rather than the truth!

Placed 25th May, dealer told me expecting in second half of September keeping fingers crossed for it.

I ordered my 230 on 4th May, and it is on it's way to the dealer...It will be a 66 plate :-)

Spoke to the dealer today and he reckons six weeks from now. That would be eight weeks from ordering.

Picking up my TDI VRS today, ordered 30/05/2016 so over 14 weeks to delivery, blame ireland

 

Came in today and they have it ready for me for this evening which is good

That's well over a month better than me - ordered end-April, car wasn't built until end-Aug so I've 2-3 weeks to wait yet...

 

...who should I blame???

Finally signed Contracts yesterday and pick my Vrs 4x4 hatch up on Wednesday, that will be 4 months from ordering

Just got a call from the dealer today. My 230 is being built this week rather than mid October. I've seen this a couple times on here; month early builds for the 230s. It looks like they found some of those pesky GTI engines down the side of the sofa or something

I ordered my Octavia Style Estate 1.0 Manual on the 28th of August, I just got the build date 5th of October with delivery after around 5 weeks.

 

I find it quite interesting to see the differences in specs and prices between countries, so this is how it is in Sweden:

Just got a hold on my dealer today.
My Octy is on is way to Denmark, should arive late this week, ore starting week 40.
Should be able to pic it up late week 41 :)

So around 15 days left before i can drive around on new weels.

Return my Golf 7 today.. so for the next 2 weeks i have to drive around i my wife VW UP!

Mine is now at the dealer, ready for me to collect when I can, which should be Wednesday!

mine was registered on the 10th so assume not long now? not bad as ordered on 1st of August..

Mine will be built week commencing next Monday. Hooray!  

Ordered Vrs 230 moon white DSG on June 20th, have been given a build date of week 44 30th October. Does anyone know what the average time is from factory built to collection?

I wonder why some people are waiting longer than others for their 230? I ordered mine on 1st of August and picking up on Saturday (22nd) so 11 weeks and 5 days wait total, quite pleased with that
