Anyone in the south waiting for their build week 18 car know if it was on the Gran Canaria which docked last night at Sheerness and is now on its way back to Emden.

In 24 hrs time I will have my new car

Counting down the seconds.

Just had my weekly update

"Your vehicle is roughly two weeks away from being delivered, it is now at 'Status 39' which means it is on a ship on its way to the UK."

Mine is at Emden. Build week 18.

Hi everyone, new on here but thought a few of you may be interested re build dates and delivery expectations, I've ordered an Octavia vRS 230 with pretty much all the options ticked save for the parking assist and the SmartGate thingy.  I'm thinking that if there's any delay in any of the different supply lines for the various 'extras' then my build date may creep out, so I'll let you know if this does and what caused it.  For example, I believe opting for the rear camera some months ago added to the delivery time but this doesn't seem to be the case just at the moment.

 

Order placed with Dennis Horton, Lincoln  Friday 22nd April.

 

Had a call from them Tuesday 3rd May to say my order was accepted and has been allocated BW24, w/c 13th June.

 

Will be really pleased if they can manage to deliver in just 8 days after this, as some lucky individual above has - wasn't expecting it to arrive until at least the middle of July! :clap:

Got an update from dealer yesterday.....Car is in th uk and I will get a phonecall from them Tuesday letting me know the registration plate.

My order date was 13th March with BW 18

excellent stuff, i'm hoping mines landed. I emailed my dealer saying I needed it for next friday and his reply was that it shouldn't be a problem and he'd get it psi'd as soon as it got to the dealership.  no mention of it being in the UK though...

Build week has arrived... looking forward to it arriving? Much...

mine has finally been confirmed as in the UK.  A transport order has been raised and it should be at the dealers in a few days.  I've asked for it by this Friday or Saturday so fingers crossed. 

On another note it looks like it probably came in on Gran Canaria Car yesterday so all of the BW18's due into Sheerness should hopefully be here by now! 

Well, mine has arrived at the dealers almost exactly 2 months after order, pick up scheduled tail end of week. Hope I can shake this damn virus by then to enjoy it

Placed my order on the 11th May, got my build date given yesterday of week 26 (w/c 27th June) they're saying 4 weeks max after that to arrive so fingers crossed it'll be here w/c 25th July

Ordered on 24th March a 1.2 TSI Style Octavia. Being built this week. Delivery to Dublin 4-6 weeks.

Just been updated the car is at the port of Tyne awaiting transport. The wait is nearly over!!

Ordered mine 13th March and had it nearly a week and it's a good car ... Loving it .

Ordered 13th March, called dealer today and they said slim possibility of this week. Booked a collection of 28th May as away all next week.

well mine is in the dealer, and ready for collection by Friday.  can't wait.  

Mine is due to be build on the 25th May and delivery a month later.  Ordered at the end of March

Dealer confirmed today that my Race Blue SEL Estate 2.0 TDi DSG is in the UK and I can expect delivery within 10 days. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!

I now have a registration plate (SC16 - lease company get their best deals from a Scottish dealer) for my vRS on my lease companies fleet login - assuming that means it's 'landed' in the UK.

I'm on holiday from Tuesday until early June though, but how cool is it to come back to a new car! Can see a home admin day that day which will actually be a day driving more miles than normal!! [emoji13]
