I've ordered an Octavia vRS diesel hatch - have been told it's build week 21 and to expect a June delivery. Does anyone know when week 21 commences? I hate waiting!

The build weeks are the same as calendar weeks, i.e week one is 1st January week, build week 21 will be the 21st calender week.

 

So build week 21 is either the last week of May, first week of June (just a quick calculation using my phone).

 

I ordered mine (factory order) on the 30th January and was told B/W 11 which was the week commencing 16th March, it got built a week early (B/W 10) and I collected it on the 3rd April to give you an idea on delivery times (8-9 weeks in my case), however I know some people have waited longer and a few lucky ones have got their cars sooner.

 

Seems to be the luck of the draw how quickly the cars get through Emden (port of exit in Germany) or Grimsby (point of entry into the U.K).

I've gone for the stealth look - black with standard anthracite Gemini alloys, not DSG though. Also with the black edition grill and folding black mirrors. Gone for the Canton upgrade, colour maxi dot and the Mitsumi connection. Think that's it off the top of my head!

ordered mine 24th april and still havent had any info.

Mine was ordered March 23rd. It was built last week and I was told on Monday it was on its way to Emden.

I'm very excited now. Although I think I would have preferred to not know its built. I wasn't that bothered before I found out but now I know it exists im giddy.

No options at all. It's a totally standard vRS TDi DSG hatch in race blue. I'm only leading so didn't want to spend loads of money increasing the value of a lease companies car that I'll never own.

I was going to have nav fitted as an option but I got it free.

Yeah my dealer reckons 8 weeks tops. He originally said I'd be in the car within 12 weeks when I ordered. So far it's looking like we're on track for that.

I put a few options on, hopefully doesn't add much time, I don't see why it would so long as they have everything.

I've just chased our dealer up for the Scout, ordered 16th Mar - should have been built last week (wk 17, which was brought forward 1 week), so hopefully on way to Emden and same boat as flyingpigvrs' - same story re options, none other than metallic. They seem to be getting them built relatively swiftly now, the delays are often this side of the sea due to the transporters. 

From what I've been reading on here about MY16 from build week 22 onwards... I kinda almost want mine to be delayed a week. Then again, just about sums up my luck, I can imagine my car being the very last MY15 in week 21 rolling off the production line.....

Just got an update from the leasing company... car is due to be delivered at the end of June - it's currently in the shipping queue to come into the UK. I hate waiting

my build week for VRS TDI was week 21 also, i am also being given a "end of june sometime" delivery date. 

I ordered my Scout on 28th March; the dealer submitted the order to Skoda on 30th March. Apparently being built next week (Mon 8th June). On the plus side it will probably be a MY16, but the car is going to be leased so not a massive benefit to me really!

For comparison, I ordered my Scout 184, on 27th April.

Dealer quickly confirmed Week 22 MY16 build.

It was built last week and on 28th May it's status changed to "In transit to Germany port"(sic).

I'm hoping I'm 2-3 weeks away from collection (yeah, I know thats optimistic!)

Wow, ordered mine the same day and still no build date.

Ordered my VRS on 24th March. Dont know what build date was dont know if its my16 or not. Dont no anything exept dealer rung and said hoping for 10th june delivery....

It seems no one is totally sure.

I know Irish spec cars are getting 6.5 inch boleros, the vrs is getting a reversing camera too.
