Not my cuppa tea either really, they are just too big fot that size car. 18's are about right, even 19's are pushing it IMO.

I think it must be the digi cam, I don't believe it's photoshopped. Centre caps are huge on Audi rims, arch distortions probably explained by the mudguards?

And yes you can have 225/30/20 tyres by the way. :eek: Probably not the most comfortable ride though!

the 30 doesn't stand for 30mm, it stands for 30% of the width so in this case 67.5mm with full tread

Let's try and keep the descriptive words fairly decent........of course the alternatives get to the point but can come across rather harsh.

So let's not let the thread degrade....I have a big padlock waiting just in case.

Personally not to my taste or particular driving circumstances....I have 18'' alloys with KW3 coilover...had it lowered to around 1 fingers width between top of tyre to arch....handled well but handling of crests/dip aweful...not enough suspension travel. Also killed both the front arch liners and got rub on full lock.

if you want speed light 17" is fine... if you want to look like a pimp then big chrome is your choice. Personally the only Audi rim i liked was the RS6... the rest look like dustbin lids. but each to their own..

As for the ride height... its not low. my RS was low... there are drivetrain issues with low height... but on track with slicks lower the better...
