Ordered a black magic vrs on contract so not toying it up but really couldnt make my mind up on colour.  Gone for black magic with red stitching but the missus is saying silver stitch would be better but the dealers only had a moon grey estate vrs to see with red.  Torn between white and blue vrs colours, is there a thread already (tried searching) with real life vrs estates in various colours and also interiors?

 

 

I have a candy white coming on 10th June.  The wait is unbearable though!

I personally think the red stitching goes with some colour's but not all i.e black and white's (both), red (both) and silver, but doesn't go with the Blues, grey's, yellow.

 

However it's down to personal choice, but I have Race blue with Grey stitching!

My black vrs has red stitching and it works well together - it looks great when clean but you really need to be keen on cleaning to keep it looking smart and it shows all minor scratches - if you tend to use the local car wash or hand-on people i'd not go for black but if you are keen on 2 bucket method and snowfoam/prewash cleaning regularly its fine - but keep a bottle of 'Poorboys blackhole glaze' handy!

My vrs estate is metal Grey I went for the grey stitching as it looked best with the car colour

I went for Silver stitching with my white car, looked more subtle than red, after 9 moths i am really happy I went for the silver vice red.

Quick question - seen pictures of black ones with black front grill surround and some with silver.  Is the black surround an option?

The black surround is part of the black pack which usually includes black grill surround, black mirrors and roof rails

Yeah the black surround also comes with the black mirror covers and roof rails. I only have the black Grille surround as I fitted it myself

For 10 quid extra a month I can get the black pack and sunset glass - didnt want to spec up anything as its a lease but tempted .... hmmmmmm.....  spoke to a friend and he got aftermarket for 140 on the glass, how much is the black grill surround?

i think I paid around £35-£40 for the black grille surround and took me 20 mins to fit myself

And consider that the Sunset Glass is not very dark. I wish it was darker.

Personally I can't understand why you'd not go for red stitching regardless of colour, but that is of course my own personal preference. The black pack gives you black grille, mirror and roofbars. I think the black would look really good with black painted roofbars, rather than black plastic, but for the price, I'm not sure it represents good value for money! 

 

Here is a picture (or two) of my car. Red stitching, black paint. Aftermarket 35% tint on rear windows which was £160. I wish I'd got sunset glass as I'd rather have tinted glass rather than a film applied on top of the glass but I am pleased with the outcome.

I do like Race Blue but since its not VRS exclusive anymore everyone seems to pick it, thats the only reason I didnt buy a 3rd race blue vrs

I'd say go for Rallye Green, black pack,sunset glass,grey stitching, but I don't want too many in this colour. Want to keep the numbers in this combination down.

I went green with red stitching and the black pack, everyone I have spoken to says it looks ace and I'm very pleased with the colour, quite like the rarity too only seen 1 other and that was at a dealers.
Will have had it 2 weeks on Friday.
Went with the red stitching as it matches the red brakes and red strip on the rear bumper and makes the inside look a little more special.

Colour does vary a bit depending on the light.
