How do you get the station Logo's on the Bolaro Radio in my Vrs. I've tried pressing the Station Logo button on the radio setup menu but nothing seems to happen.  We have a Fabia MKIII SE-L Demo car at the moment and the logo's on that radio are super duper

I think it has something to do with age the newer radios have it but slightly older models dont

There's another thread on here somewhere with a link to download a file that contains the logos.

You put these on to an sd card then on the bolero you go through the station logo option and find the relevant logo on the sd card. It then saves it and displays it.

I've got it running on mine. Works well but only for presets.

Great haven't got the car yet, still another 5-6 weeks away but at least I have the radio station logos.

This is a prime reason why I believe you should be able to hook cars up to the internet - to get system updates and patches - like this in the same way your phone does. Cars a very backward in this sense and it really would improve car infotainment systems as companies would be expected to maintain and update their software, rather than release something flawed and unintuitive with buyers just left to lump it for 4 years until the mid-life update.

haha thought someone would say that [emoji14] but any piece of technology could be hacked.

Think about your phone, your PC, your Web browser (except IE), you games console, heck even your TV - they all check for updates and download them from a secure sever its not a process you can interfere with unless you are a dam good hacker - and those sorts of people aren't going to be hacking your car - they will have bigger and better things to do.

Plus most malware is designed to steal personal info, logins passwords, bank details etc - things that criminals can use to make money from - none of that is in your car, they have no real interest in infecting your cars infotainment with trollface. The only "password" you have in your car is the key really, they've already been hacked and manufacturers dont seem too bothered about it.

I did this a while ago, but the logos on my O3 VRS are smaller than those on the wife's F3 SEL not sure why.

 

One other difference I noticed, is that her stereo sounds a lot better than mine - lots more depth to it, better bass etc

Slightly off topic but is it possible to change the order of the radio station presets? For example if I want to move radio 1 to position 3? Is the only way to delete then re-save?

There is also a button to download logos automatically. Never seems to work?

Only a small number of stations broadcast their logo over the air in some countries. In the UK the only reliable DAB station that does DAB logos OTA is BBC World Service. I believe it is different in some other European countries though, and most stations broadcast the logos.

Hi People,

Need help !!!  I have 2015 Superb Elegance with Columbus satnav/radio does anyone have any experience of getting radio logos onto this ?   The BBC World service does not seem to display a logo on my unit. I have seen a number of threads and copied logos onto SDcard but I don't seem to be able to find an option to upload to the system ....and help would be greatly appreciated.

Further info Columbus sw version 6276 ....

..and like the above post I had loan Fabia for the day that seem to have all the DAB logos and looked great .....
