When I joined this forum there was no such thing as a Fabia vRS. I suspect since it has been around the membership here has rocketed. So it's inevitable that some of the old guard get a bit miffed when the young upstarts make comparisons between their beloved Octys and the Furbys. Like most people said though, it's 95% banter, lets be realistic if we had the dough we wouldn't be arguing about Fabias or Octavias, we'd all be driving Aston Martins or Ferraris. I think everyone here would agree that Skoda is virtually unbeatable in terms of the most "bang for your buck", although personally I feel the Octy II is a bit pricey compared to the original one.

Oh, and of course the Octy vRS is superior to the Fabia vRS

As has already been alluded to, there are different models in the Skoda range that work for different people.

You personally might consider that the Superb isn't, but then it isn't meant to be a bigger vRS. If you are after bags of space, comfortable ride and bags of equipment for not too much money, the the Superb does exactly what it says on the tin.

Yes I think the Superb is fantastic, but that doesn't mean I will instantly want to slag off whatever model you are driving. Whatever you drive obviously works for you.

You're all just Polo or Golf GTI wannabe owners anyway.

Save up and buy the real deal instead of the cheap inferior imitation.
