Thanks mate.

It is hard to find a good Fabia people seem to miss treat then badly don't they.

Around town I get mid 40's and on a good motorway run I get mid 50's sat at aboit 80 it's been remapped to 140bhp aswell. Could probably get better mpg but I've got a heavy right foot haha.

Going to let the manifold soak in some Mr Muscle for a bit today and see if i can clean some crap out.

Anybody have any recommendations for painting the Inlet Manifold? What paints to use?

Thanks, Jonezy

Bought some stainless tube and a twin stainless tip the other day got one of the fab lads to weld them together for me today. Going to chop my backbox off and go straight through. But going to make it detachable so if i ever need to put the back box back on it will go straight back on with no problems :)

Bought a few more things for the beast, picked up this Air Intake. I know they dont make any difference to performance but they make the bay look nicer.

Also picked up some Euro Style Rear Lights, not sure if i prefer these to my GTI ones but il fit them and see.

Not updated in a few weeks but finally fitted all my mods after a few small set backs.

Over the last couple weeks i have fitted the PD150 Turbo, Darkside Side Mount Kit, PD150 Inlet Manifold, PD130 Injectors, PD130 Maf Sensor, 3 Bar Map Sensor and the Induction Kit. Making a bracket for the induction kit today and i've ordered some Red silicone hose for it so i can get it right over behind the battery. Also did the vac line simplification (no pictures of that yet) Only thing left to fit now is my back box delete which is just a stainless steel pipe with a twin exit welded to it. Heres some pictures...

This is why i need to longer silicone hose and im going to make a bracket so it stays in one position.

And the results, proper happy with the result and it is stupidly fast now. Was told i could have got more power out of it but i was happy leaving it at this and it doesnt smoke at all.

So made this little part at work this morning so i can safely put the vac line in with the air filter, nice and simple...

32588945236_1f2d715ed0_b.jpgDSC_0812 by Adam Jones, on Flickr

And here it is fitted, i drilled the hole in the air pipe off the car and blew all the dirt out afterwards so there wasn't any risk of anything getting into the engine...

32476062862_2a77f407d0_b.jpgDSC_0813 by Adam Jones, on Flickr

Simply but effective.

Next is to make a simple bracket for holding the air filter in place. And then when my silicone hose arrives i can get the filter as far away from the engine as possible.
Thanks, Jonezy

So not to much has happened lately, just been enjoying the car. Still really happy with how it peforms.

Went and picked a anni splitter up a week or so ago and got that fitted. Think i might keep it gloss black i personally think it looks quite good.

Also picked up some side skirts at a steal. Trial fitted one and the fit is really good, just need to get them fitted properly now. When the weather decides to get better.

Bought these alloys, 1 has cracked spokes but didnt bother me as i only need to use 2 so i can refurb mine 2 at a time.

Starting to get a lot of cleaning gear now as well so hopefully be able to wash my car properly and regularly myself.

As you can see its been neglected haha

Changed the heater control bulb to a red one as well as the middle knob lit up white/yellow and the outter 2 lit up red with the smart style knobs.
Its been annoying me for a while now haha.

Hard to tell from the pictures.

Alls i need to do now is clean the car properly, find a new drivers wing as its rusty, refurb alloys, got a rear anni splitter coming in a few months aswell (need to wait for him to fit his rear bumper haha) then its on to smoothing the front reg recess and then il be happy.

Gave the car a well deserved clean over the weekend and realised how bad the paintwork really is  dry.png serious swirl city. Hopefully getting it made better with a stage 1 machine polish in a few months when money allows.

Also with the massive amount of torque ripping through the front wheels it was only a matter of time before the tyres where illegal  rolleyes.gif. So took the fronts off and fitted 2 of my spare 17's came with nearly new Falken tyres and only paid £40 for all 4 although one of them has cracked spokes. But at least it means i can now start slowly refurbishing the fronts now.

Heres some pics.

Front splitter decided to fall off yesterday aswell so out came the blue tape to hold it on until i got home  laugh.png

Secured it on with screws through the tabs on the back.

And a early morning pic before i set off to work with my odd wheels.

Soooo.... Wheels have come and there now on the car. A couple have people have already seen them, they've been on the car nearly 2 weeks now and i absolutely love how they look. Just need to lower it a little bit now but im loving how aggresive it looks. When all the cosmetic mods are finished its going to look mean.
The amount of comments ive had about them is amazing, even from non car people haha. Anyway enough with the babbling heres some pics..

Not sure if anybody even reads this but il keep it updated anyway... (Taken from another forum so little bits might not makes sense)

Changed thermostat and coolant temp sensor, flushed and renewed all coolant and car now gets up to temp and hasn't lost any coolant up to now ;) Hopefully that's sorted it.

Have a couple engine bay shots...

Little update, bought myself a half leather interior at a bargain price and they are mint. Seude in the centre needs a clean but il sort that at a later date. Only put rear seats and passenger one in for now, need to figure out how to wire up the electric seats before i can fit the drivers seat.

 Heres some pics...

Also bought this, couldnt resist as it came up cheap enough and in the correct colour. Tbh it looks like they've done a really good job of smoothing. Just need to find a spoiler for it and de-wiper it and il get it fitted.

Took a few pics of the car aswell. One from sneaking it in the college garage. And a rear end shot...
