Sounds like a plan  , sadly mine isn't even a year old yet and as I rarely keep a car more than a year, I don't think it'll be around by the time the warranty expires!

:D i doubt i'll be letting mine go anytime soon! I love it too much and if i get the stage 2 it'll be a real sleeper then :giggle:

Ha, I do really like ours too and it currently succeeds in ticking a lot of boxes, however, our circumstances change regularly with our family situation which always prompts a change of our main vehicle.

I do hope it stays longer term though, hence why I want to maintain the warranty :D.

I have a rosso with ivory leather stunning car

Great combination:thumbup:. Similar to something I had on a BMW a few years ago. Ivory sets off the rosso really nicely IMHO.

Love the combination don't know why they discontinued the rosso

Just to add. It's a 272 Sportline Plus. Due to the stupid £40k threshold on increased tax we limited the options to:

Pano sunroof (as you can see)

Supernova alloys

Canton sound system

Space saver spare

Netting system

High beam assist

Heated multifunction wheel with paddles

Side and rear sun blinds

Rear parking camera

Looks fantastic.. whats the ride like on the wheels? : )

Oh and I take it that's business grey? How much did the detailing/protection cost?

Ride seems fine but I've only driven it a short distance. And yes, it's Business Grey. Toyed with Meteor but the wife prefers stealth and felt the Meteor was too obvious!

You cleaned it so hard you removed the top coat. The primer underneath looks good though.

All good options you have there mate!

The thing I am missing (and want) is the rear sun blind.

Is that a ŠKODA Genuine Accessory or was it an option that could be ordered within the production process?

Would love to see what it looks like (inside) and how it attaches (and possibly the Part Number if you access to it)!!!

I am also jealous of your rear wiper!!!

It was an option on the order ope.  The rear doors have retractable sunblinds (into the door card), and the rear sunblind is in the parcel shelf - you pull it up and it hooks magnetically (I think - haven't looked too closely) into a fixing at the rear of the rooflining.

We've got the sun protection glass as well, so at the moment only have the door blinds up.  I've got the BMW kit in my non-sun protection glass E91 3 Series (the manual fit ones not the door card ones) and we found they actually cut the sun and heat better than the sun protection glass we had in our F20 1-series.  So we've doubled up on the Superb with having both!

Thanks for the reply, yes we have the factory Privacy Glass (sunset) also.

And the rear door retractable sun shades, just not the parcel shelf blind.

The sun is extra hot here in OZ, so the rear sunblind would have been a great addition also.

Any chance you have the part number on your original purchase order? (I know - long shot!!!)

A picture of the rear parcel shelf / sunblind would be great too (in keeping with this thread)!!!

Do you also have the storage net underneath the parcel shelf by anychance?

Just jumped on the ŠKODA UK Configurator, I found the pack you were talking about.

Looks like the primer hasn't dried yet.  Maybe should take it back inside so the dust doesn't settle and fix ;)

After nine months I am still happy with the car.

Almost the spec we went for.  Very nice!

Cheers Mervin - Still under 100KM on the clock, looking forward to taking out for a proper cruise sometime soon. Very happy with it though, sublimely comfortable. Do you have yours (if so, happy?)

I'm a few posts up Grumpy.  Decided in the end to go with the Hatch as it's still massive enough!  And plumped for Business Grey.

Wife's car - I've driven it about 2 miles so far!  I'm going to pinch it when she's away soon though and mine goes in the garage :D  She absolutely loves it though.

Ah yes - very nice that in hatch with business grey - looks very purposeful! Very nice look, and great spec. Loving the supernova wheels. Great your wife loves the car, mine does too, plenty of room for shopping!
