At Kildonan on the Isle of Arran. What glorious weather for my GFs birthdayIMG_7230.thumb.jpeg.dd621973dc24e2883fc1c8b2e9ef4f3f.jpegIMG_7232.thumb.jpeg.38a382d907a511437cd6a850a9c1b77b.jpeg

A treat to myself after a wonderfully chilled out week on the Isle of Arran. Weather has been superb. IMG_7248.thumb.jpeg.803805fab162c437b59cef05659849dd.jpegIMG_7246.thumb.jpeg.cdd9c1f28f33c266a2904cfb73e7c421.jpeg

Loving the look and left field colour! Quickly on this - 10mm lower offset; doesn’t that mean wheel sits closer to the hub, ie further into the wheel arch? They look pretty flush to the wheel arch instead 🤯

Edited by travs

The centre line of the wheel is inwards from the hub face,

When you reduce this measurement it will bring the centre line of the wheel closer to the hub  in an outwardly direction.

In my case the 10mm lower ET/offset moved the wheel face out by the 10mm, of course this only applies because I used the same wheel width as the OEM ones

It's all about where the centre line of wheel ends up in relation to the hub

Have a look at "willtheyfit.com"

Nice. I don't like the 'S k o d a' lettering on FL version too, but nothing at all, is a "step too far" for me 😁. The Skoda logo as on pre-FL version seems to be right compromise for me... 😉

But, the most important is that it suits YOUR taste!

I think this is where there’s positive and negative offset I think so getting confused. This is positive offset so bigger number moves in towards the car? Negative offset moves out away from the car? I’ll do more research!

It’s very current in style - Volvo do it at the moment, as does a couple of others I’ve noticed. I like it but definitely good to get rid of the mass of other badges on there!

I think is very un-stylish choice. A brand that has instant recognition should never needed to be spelled, really.

But as written before, in this "new world" it seems every needs to be spelled out because people are losing the idea of "imagining" something, they just wanted it all explained out, video'd, tiktoke'd, etc. .....
