I love the Superb MK3 with EA888 engine, I'm on my third model now, all Laurin & Klement. Awesome car and spec for the price.
Initially I had the white L&K 280 with DSG6.

Lovely! I didn't own it from new but got it off Arnold Clark in the Birmingham area. Sold it as part exchange at Marshall Skoda Croydon in May 2020.

Well, there we go! I got it from Marshalls Leicester... the owner between you and me only had it 3 months then?! Very odd!

Or a transfer within the group?

It only works for coming home or leaving home anyway. So not active while driving. So that's a bit of stupid nonsense on your part.

Mudflap is for old people and has nothing to do with tuning or gimmicks, it's just ugly.

I already have the chassis, 20", headlights, downpipe, carbon intake and other carbon parts, so my L&K is already a little wolf in sheep's clothing.

There is envy from others everywhere anyway, no matter what it ultimately comes down to.

Mudflaps are not only something for seniors and also have nothing to do with tuning or gimmicks. Their real purpose is to protect the body of the vehicle from mud damage and, above all, from small stones and other foreign objects that are thrown up by the tires and thrown at the body and paint of the car with considerable speed and force. This can cause damage that, in my opinion, is much more unsightly than the mud flaps themselves.

Then you wrap it with clear film so that you have the protection you want. And that without the splash flaps.

If you drive track plates the danger is even higher.
Everyone who does this knows this in advance.

Finally nice complementary environment for our new toxic dragon :)

What are track plates?

i don't mind being old then as I like flaps on Gandalf 😁

Did you retrofit them or your car come from the factory with them? I'm wondering should I add them to the Scout :)

Tricky indeed. We are a bit off topic, but I feel and agree with both: being a car enthusiast you always want to put a bit of yourself in your ride.

At the same time, the choice of the "mods" depend on each one's tastes and wants, capability (both economical and technical), and largely in where you are located.

And, I would add with a personal perspective, how long you've been doing it and what are your current expectations.

I've spent huge amounts on money on cars, sometimes I've never recovered it, and I am now a bit more 'wary' when choosing something, because I really try but cannot let it go ... ☺️

They look aftermarket to me, too shiny (could have been painted as well). I wonder where the emblem comes from 🤪

I am afraid they might not fit a Scout, at least the OEM, as you have the extra fender lip. At least, when I was looking into them (the Scout was the closest competitor) I did not manage to find anywhere a successful install.

I think mudflaps are a divisible argument, but I am with Graham above on the functionality and practicality of it. I would also mention the added safety factor by minimizing road spray thrown to vehicles come behind you. In a way, is also an accessory for increasing respect to the others on the road, something fairly forgotten nowadays. Ask me, they should be compulsory on every single vehicle on the road, regardless of its class or type.

Now true, some vehicles with flaps look better than others ... these two rank among by favorites (and not only in the flaps' department!)

Fantastic look, and perfect functionality ... ☺️

Mud flaps are accessories. They're not delivered in first mount, even as an option.

I bought Skoda OEM mudflaps from Kopacek and fitted them myself.

Very very easy to do.

I don't know of any Skoda models that come factory fitted with mudflaps.

Definitely not!

They're Skoda OEM mudflaps.

Never been painted/treated, nor wiped down.

The Superb writing is just a vinyl sticker.  Nothing fancy.

That's what I thought, I had those on my last superb and they are a dealer fitment, which I specified when placing the order, minus the stickers of course.

Yeah, I see better now ... is the entire car that is spotless, compliments! 😜

Here’s my 2019 272! Quartz metallic. Picked it up Tuesday. Absolutely love it so far.
After 7 years away from the brand (5 series touring then Cupra Formentor) I’m very happy to be back in a Škoda. 💙

@JR RS are you running spacers and if so what width have you gone for? I want some for my 272 but don’t want to go mad with them. Yours look just right to me. 👍🏼
