Rich, are you going to be able to get more spots... I just need to book the day off but my boss is off for two weeks :(

 

Hope so mate, will call MSV in the morning.

 

Last year at Brands out of 20 spaces we had 15 or 17 go.

Bit staggered by the uptake this year!

At Brands I paid for him out of my own pocket to come along and give new people some pointers and do some tuition.

 

I'd rather avoid bearing the full cost this year, so I plan to break his day up into £20 slots. (decent instructors are often £25 or £30)

20 minutes per slot is enough IMO of full on track driving for a session so...

I have made the slots 30 minutes so nobody is rushed and there is time to chat etc... doesn't matter if you go over the 20 minutes a bit.

Could squeeze in more slots but this isn't a money making exercise.

I called MSV and got 10 more spaces.

They have 17 "public" bookings so if we fill the 40 we will be 66% of all cars.

That just leaves 3 public spaces.

 

But I have to confirm final number by lunchtime Friday 25th September, so they can have back spare spaces for the public.

Filling up well now, glad I got booked in.

Anyone else staying at the Thetford Premier Inn? Just booked the 8th and 9th for £58.

 

Yep on the 8th. Will be calling it early and driving/AA trucking back home mid afternoon Monday.

 

 

Dan, I'll happily let you take my slot if you like at 10am? :)
