VCDS options on Superb III

Featured Replies

Yep that's right. After doing the adaptation to change to "Audi" for the throttle response, I noticed that the "Ignition still on" warning is no longer there if I opened the door with the engine running. But oddly, with the engine shut off using the "Stop/Start" system, the warning still shows/sounds when I open the door, after parking let's say, and if I havent turned the ignition off yet by pressing the button.

This of course refers to my KESSY equipped car.

Hi All,

Would somebody be able to post the VCDS options for High Beam Assist and Traffic Activation (TMC)? Both of these disabled here by default in Australia.

Thank you!

I noticed that the "Ignition still on" warning is no longer there if I opened the door with the engine running.

I did the mod at the weekend but haven't driven the car again until today so didn't check until now but I still get the ignition warning, audible buzzer and maxidot message, whether the engine is running or start/stop has shut it down. In other words, no different than before doing the mod.

FYI it's DMG and KESSY.

I can post today when I'm back home the traffic sign recognition

Check again in 17 for the buzzer it stops working when Disable the actuator warning

I found 2 radar sensors at the rear from a superb3. Are those for rear traffic alert? This s3 doesn't have this option but I can't found out yet what those are for.

Any ideas? Forgot to check the numbers on it

The U.K. speck L&K has rear radar for parking bays etc fitted as std.

Warwick is not that far, happy to do that for you if you want

Cheers Micloi, that'll do me. Let me know when would suit and where and I'll check my diary. I know Coops is keen to get his done so two birds one stone...

"Strange... mine is still there."

Gents, I'm getting confused what adaption is this referring to the "Audi" accelerator pedal adaption?

It's been added to the official thread here: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/380829-superb-mkiii-vcds-adaptations-tried-and-tested/?p=4611928

Ignore me.....It always helps to see if there's another page on the thread..... beer and late night posting don't mix  :drunk:

Do this mean that offline mode could be will be extended with new values like temp for oil and coolant and G-force ?

Can the odometer be changed from miles to kilometres and back like in the Honda civics? Can this be done by VCDS?

VCDS not needed. All measurement units (speed/distance/consumption/volume) can be individually switched in the infotainment's CAR menu.

Thank you BillyJim. That opens loads of options on where I might buy the car

Don’t forget the speedo dial will only be in mph OR kph though

The reason I was asking is that if I buy the car in UK which is in mph I can export it to Ireland which is kph. Cars are cheaper, even with currency conversions, to buy in UK and the spec is usually higher. It costs €94 to select the rear wiper as a extra on the Irish L&K and I believe it's free in the UK.

You believe correctly, any model in fact, not just L&K. €94? Blimey!

My guess is that these data come from ECU and it depends on the engine, etc.

On off-road display these two data are not displayed on Superb, but on SOME Passats they do work.

That's not actually the case. Unlike the Superb II it now has a "normal" dual-value speedometer dial with mph outer and kph inner.

Would someone mind putting up a photo of the odometer please? Thanks
