Updowns Mk2 Leon

Featured Replies

Owned my leon tdi for a couple months now, thought I should throw up a project thread.

Specs are:

105bhp 1.9tdi BXE

Cruise control

Bluetooth

MFSW

Rear parking sensors

Retrofitted autolights

Boot popper retrofit in progress

Satnav rns 510 retrofit in progress

Upgraded lights to osram night breaker unlimited

Other than that, pretty much stock. Came with full seat service history, 12 months mot and 6 months warranty. It has been returned for a broken boot release handle (common on leons) but other than that it has had no issues.

Love it :D

Have you started this based purely on buying your first proper mod for the car? :D

Oh here's some "proper" pics ;)

FINALLY got my rns 510 fitted and working after the dealer gave me the wrong radio code TWICE! But loving it, everything worked straight away, no coding required, couldn't believe it!

Awesome!

As a fellow mk2 Leon owner I will be keeping an eye on this thread. It would be rude not to  :)

Any noticeable improvement over stock ones?

I was quite surprised tbh, I always thought that the standard ones were alright, but after hearing the comparison they sound quite muddy. The alpines are crisp and have a decent low down punch. I left the tweeters stock and still connected for now but its still a decent improvement for not much money (£50 including adapters for the pair) rears will be done next month hopefully
