One aspect the left seems to have forgotten, of differential enforcement of law, and so-called "lawfare" itself, where the litigation process is used as a punitive measure against an enemy, is that it's a two-edged sword.

The pursuit of political opponents via use of the legal process has now been normalised, often by clumsy Soros-funded and/or diversity-hire DAs.

It might be that the left, not unreasonably, are relying on the right to "play fair", and not pick up and use the weapons that have been used them, back against their opponents.

Personally, I hope the Republicans will have the guts to use lawfare and differential enforcement as fragrantly and effectively as the Democrats have, and the resultant shrieking may have the whole nasty business binned.

But until differential enforcement and lawfare are consigned to the bin of bad ideas, I hope the Republicans are going to give the Democrats a taste of their own medicine.

 

Talking of giving Democrats a taste of their own medicine, it's encouraging that it already seems to have started, with border states bussing people entering America illegally, to Democrat "sanctuary cities", which refuse to cooperate with immigration control. Funnily enough, the people who virtue-signalled most loudly about welcoming everyone into America, don't appreciate the people they welcomed into America turning up on their doorstep.

It seems virtue-signalling was more fun when they got the credit for being nice, and some other sucker had to pay the cost of their niceness.
