I didn't see that. Yes it well and truly breaks it!

The E63 sounds incredible tho!

Edit I've just seen a 335xd lease that comes

In at £10500 over 2 years inc VAT.

8k miles per year and fully maintained.

Seen similar deals on the 335xd, not sure they were maintained though. Who's that one with?

Haha funnily I passed two white M sport 1 series today, and thought just that....

BMW 340i

RS3 (if lease prices reduce by more than 10%)

Golf R

BMW 335xd

Ford RS (unlikely as lease deals unlikely to be good)

BMW 135i

M5

The current lease deals appear to be leaning financially towards BMW and VW:-

BMW 335d X Drive M Sport FULLY MAINTAINED, (£3k down and £300 pcm on 8k miles) actual total = £9959.68

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing-companies/independent-brokers/applied-leasing-limited/bmw/3-series/69120806/

BMW M135i 5Dr NAV manual (£1700 down and £290 pcm on 8k miles) actual total = £8480.47 (obviously more if you prefer auto)

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing-companies/independent-brokers/gb-vehicle-contracts/bmw/1-series/75575977/

Golf R 5Dr DSG IN STOCK (£2800 down and £278 pcm on 8k miles) actual total = £9199.52 (obviously around £8500 if you go manual box)

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing-companies/independent-brokers/carleasing-online/volkswagen/golf/70921388/

So I guess it comes down to availability, cost, personal preference in terms of what you want the car to do.  If its down to sheer performance I guess the M135i gets you most bang for your buck!

Cheapest M5 comes in at a knats over £12k.

Regards

Cheers Chubbs, hadn't seen the fully maintained 335d deal, food for thought.

The M5 deal at £12k, what terms were those? Can't seem to fit £12k into an M5 deal. £12k over 2 years & I'll have one :D

RS3 test drive booked :)

Got an all day slot, so pick at 9am, drop back at 5pm.

Going to plan a few nice B road blasts ;)

Has the M3 or M4 come up in any considerations, or any lease deals?

I'm aware that there may be some decent finance rates and deposit contributions on them, from BMW UK.

They're consistently more experience than the M5 by about £100 / month.

The M5 is so well spec'd as standard I wouldn't need to add anything to it.

However, unless something special on the price pops up in q2 it's going to be out of budget:(

OK, interesting. Might be that what I'm hearing is based on PCP, rather than lease.

Oops, soz, the cheapest M5 is coming in at a whopping £23664 based on 24 months and 8k miles per year.

Yeah, got one in the boot for emergencies. Haven't used it in 3 years mind, and is looking a bit tatty now :D

Review of the RS in this months car mag, they love it. Their view is in it's in a different plane of ability compared to the competition, but beware of the drift button. I sense a Daily Mail outrage campaign pretty soon, the spinning Audi TT saga will pail into insignificance so best to get an early model before Ford are forced to delete / modify it's settings against a tidal wave of media outcry and ignorant idiot drivers reverse parking it in the nearest ditch. If I had enough £££s it would be my second car without hesitation. If only it was red, and made in  Piedimonte San Germano.....

There looks to be some cracking deals on the M135i at the mo.

Anyone know if the dealers are offering similar?

Well, jetted out to Tenerife for some 'me time'. I'm sweating my nads off :)

Going to have a chill and a liitle think about my next car. Starting to doubt I need anything bigger / better than the Golf.

I think the sun (or beer) has gone to my head!

Choosing a new car when under the influence is not recommended!

Got a very competitive quote for the Ford RS.

Just waiting for a reply on availability / delivery. Interested if they can actually make good on their quote :)
