I think I've posted this before, but one of them knows when to avoid collisions, the other totally doesn't.

I just like the fact that after all their bleating last year about the rubbish Renault engine, they now have to eat a nice slice of humble pie. Even if the engine isn't quite the best on the grid, it

Rosberg under investigation - could get a penalty.

David Hobbs and other analysts on NBC call Rosberg a liar after his post race interview. Even comparing it to Prost Senna 89 at the Suzuka chicane where taking both cars out was more profitable than losing to a team mate for Prost.

Brake failure according to Toto as well as brain failure. Deliberate Schumacher style punt off I think as Nico didn't turn the wheel enough. Lewis passed Nico under a yellow flag could be awkward though.

Saw that too but on Nicos on board Hamilton was past before the first yellow light.

The sky coverage showed a yellow flag just before Hamilton passed him but Turdberg had chunks of car flying off and sparks everywhere, I doubt anyone would be expected to crawl along behind him.

Nico just drove straight on into the side of Lewis, pretty to amazing to watch tbh.

Been busy in the office today (the joys of being self employed) so I will watch the race later.

BBC online poll as who was to blame?

Hamilton 7%

Rosberg 89%

Both 4%

:D Hamilton could have carried on into the gravel and Rosberg would still have hit him

F1 Race Stewards rule Rosberg at fault, and completely let him off with a non-penalty.

Given that the other party also drives for Mercedes I'm not expecting an appeal.

I've just watched the race and Rosberg made no attempt to turn in until he had speared Hamilton. Hamilton booed on the podium??? Silverstone next, I'm sure Rosberg will get a warm welcome . Frosty times inside the Mercedes team?

From the off, there is loads for conspiracy theorists in this one.

Hamilton was kept out on his first set for a long long time allowing Rosberg to close in on fresher rubber.

Hamilton's team then do a slow pitstop allowing Nico to pass.

Later Hamilton's side put him on slower tyres than Rosberg, even though he has a new set of Ultrasofts left.

No wonder Wolff punched the counter when all this hard work came to nowt on lap 71.

Mind you, even if Nico is getting favourable treatment now, he doesn't yet have a new contract. His bargaining position must be getting weaker after every controversial incident.

For a British poll that's amazing. In any F1 debate, there are normally way more than 7% of Hamilton-haters who would blame him regardless.

I think one of the two drivers should leave at the end of the season. Rosberg to replace Raikkonen at Ferrari and  Wehrlein to join Mercedes.

Nico didn't want to lose the race, especially to Lewis. He tried to take him out by blocking him on the turn in. It backfired. Lewis won.

Hopefully Nico will grow up as a consequence because he could be a great driver BUT if he doesn't win the championship this year I cant see him staying in partnership with Lewis.

So, Lewis moves on or Nico is advised to leave as his contract is not renewed....

This season is hotting up :)

If the decision is made after the championship is decided, there won't be a good drive left. Whoever leaves Mercedes will have a chance of a seat swap with Wehrlein, or retirement.

I'd happily take Hamilton at Ferrari, him and Vettel in a hopefully sorted car....Yes please

I cant imagine either of them wanting to leave in a hurry, not unless they're going to team that can seriously challenge at the front.

Neither may want to leave, but one is already contracted to the end of 2018, and the other isn't.

Lewis - "If you look at the on-board you'll see that he was in my blind spot." Yes, so you turned in regardless of the fact that you didn't know where he was.

I know Lewis isn't everyones cup of tea Ken, but surely the FIA stewards called you up before they made the decision that Nico was completely in the wrong this time? ;)

I don't know what Lewis told the stewards and neither do you. I did quote directly from his C4 interview.

No, but I dd have my glasses on to see him run off the road by his team-mate again (for at least the third time this year).

I think Wolff should bench each of them for their respective home race. Give Wehrlein Hamilton's car at Silverstone, and Rosberg's in Germany.

See if they play nice after that.

I think the idea is that when racing against someone who you can trust to drive fairly you can have close combat and not end up with prangs. By fairly, I dont mean just leave the door open and be overtaken, defending is one thing, pushing someone out wide is one thing, but out and out punting into your team mate is just stupid.

Thankfully the majority of drivers are capable of racing fairly, else we'd have very boring races if every time someone overtook then stopped because a car was in their blind spot.

What an utterly ridiculous statement.
