even on the drive home it felt better, less "dead" space in the straight ahead position, feels more direct, and its lost that funny "rattle" it seemed to have like something was loose when it went over bumps... good so far, will track it tomorrow!

now thats a question... worth it? don't know about that, £129 for the rack, £188 to fit it.... thing is I HAD to do it as the rack was knackered.... whether its worth all that money for the extra feel I don't know.... but haven't driven it in anger yet, as got to get it set up properly. But its definatley better, but £317 better? hhhmmmmm

KEEP US INFORMED  :)

no, I did the wheels before the suspension.... reason it looks like that is I deliberately put standard top mounts on the front, (need some clearance up here in Cumbria! lol) If I would have put th epolybushed top mounts on, it would have been 10mm lower at the front, so would have looked more even... these wheels have a big offset too which is why they look so wide, standard spiders would just seem to go up in the arches a bit more...

just a little update on the steering after driving it for a while and giving it some imitation track work ;)

firstly the michelin pilot supersports are fookin awesome in the hot and dry... better than the track slicks I have used before!

and the rack feels really good, just feels sharper than before and more agile, how it should have been out of the factory! I already have the TT brace bars top and bottom on too.

Got a new problem though, its often (intermittent) struggling to start from cold, will then eventually start with EPC light on (but run like  a bag of spanners) simply turning off and on once started with EPC light on returns it to normal.... clearly a knackered sensor somewhere 😞 bane of my life these intermittent electrical faults... so many things this could be! ... no money to throw at it at the moment.

litlle lakes run :) car performing well apart from not starting properly!  grip is amazing... brakes amazing... noise amazing.... just got to get it to start without the EPC light every time lol..

Years ago we used to go to Santa Pod from Scotland in a heavy modified Plymouth Barracuda which liked to visit every petrol station on the way there and every year it would "accidentally snap it n/side driveshaft" on the way back which was stored under the spare wheel well.

This would be done at the side of the first petrol station where we would stock up on beer with the money saved on fuel to return home.

This went on for at least the 4 years I went down😎

Dont know how the AA never sussed year after year same petrol station same car same time of year same problem...

You could take a "broken C.V.joint" with you and enjoy getting ferried all the way home if you get bored of the drive.😀

My brilliant tyre place come through again, 1) they said it was easily repairable, 2) pulled it out, seems it didn't need repairing, not long enough to cause any damage! :) The pilot supersports live again...
