I put a few photos of my brown SE L in the photo thread when I first got it. It is quite a dark colour and yes, so think it's black. Best in what photographers refer to as the golden hour: early morning or evening sunset light.

Thank you Leeboy, that gives me a better idea, don't know how I missed them will take a look at them, I went by the picture in the Superb brochure on page 24 which I'm convinced is Magnetic Brown Metallic. In your photo you can see the effect where the sun/light is hitting the rear passenger door. My current Fabia is in Black Magic Pearl and that really pops in the right light conditions and I guess that Magnetic Brown Metallic is the same

This is a big part of the reason that I don't order a new Superb. Colour choice is boring as hell.

can't agree, had huge problems chose right white from several - Candy White; Laser White; Moon White

previous cars were Yellow; Dark Grey; Black

This looks really nice in the flesh. Considered it but was afraid of hot summers and dirt showing up easiy.

My indecision is final..... Business Grey with black leather. L&K 4x4 190 hatch through NCD

I was actually really ****ed when black leather became an option on the L&K. Now I've had the car for 8 days, I wouldn't change to black if I had the choice all over again. 

 

And I'm also really pleased with Petrol blue. Everyone's first comment is "Oooh, that's a really nice colour" etc...

Each to his own, but I hopped between Business and Quartz grey from the brochure but when I saw one in the flesh it was Quartz. Had it a week or so now and don't regret it. IMO the darker colour enhances the lines and shows the chrome trim better, especially from the front. It definitely has more of a bluey tint to it than pictures do it justice. Mine is the dark interior but beige would look good.

I have gone for the Metallic brown, with brown inertia and beige roof lining. As an alternative I was thinking RED or Rosso Red.

I also think that the Quatz had a blue tint to it.

I beg to differ. I have it on my X6 and it works very well. IMHO of course :-)

It's why I bought another Superb. The first time I went to have a look at one at the local dealer it was grey with a brown interior and that put me off the idea.  A couple of weeks later I was passing so popped in with the wife. They had a red/beige L&K hatch with 19" anthracite wheels and I ordered one before I'd left the showroom

I understand your reasoning there, I just couldn't go for the Brown and when I ordered Black wasn't available, I do think that the Beige really does suit it though.
