I must say and IMHO the Milltek system is the best system out there for the Octavia especially as I now have the new back box fitted, it just gives you everything:

The look - Looks fantastic from the back and well finished.

The sound - The new back box sounds more purposeful, lovely sound at idle and no booming.

The fit - Nothing short of perfect (see pics) and no rattles, does not hit rear bumber over bumps. Please note they have also upgraded the clamps.

The power - The cat-back system doesn't seem to give any real power gains IMHO but adding the sports cat (full turbo back system) gives noticeable torque gains especially low down + Sports cat does not show any check lights.

As GR_Octavia wrotes that we are interested in Full Miltek System.

I have a quotation from AmD + shipping in Athens and total cost is 100 E more than local custom similar system. If you add something for fitting....

the 20% discount is very nice and we definetely want to order them (so our total cost stays below 1100 Euro)..

If you count 5+ systems from us how many of you are interested for total 10+ orders??

I think it's an opportunity.

the external diamter is 2.5'' and internally is about 3mm less.

I got these from Milltek but they're on my desk at work and I'm workng from home today.

So I guess the figures you quoted are correct.

Unfortunately I cant do much more even for those who need overseas shipping. If there was much margin left I'd pass it on to all parties involved in the buy.

(of course I could make the shipping seem more palatable if you bought a few items at a time, )

If five people will commit the 15% offer is very good indeed. I offered the backend system for a similar amount last Nov-Dec which is a similar discount but got no takers in the end. The logistics of getting the exhaust systems to the customer and local fitting or fitting miles from home seems to be the biggest problem. I would certainly recommend the Milltek product both performance and quality.

As far as I know no one has had CEL come on with a cat back as it does affect the 2 lambda sensors...these are in the cat. You only tend to get CEL light if you remove the cat.

I believe with the new back box fit is better than previous and also an improvement in sound and visually (see Des' posting).

No sure where workshop Disco has use of is but I guess somewhere in Essex(? sorry Disco don't know where you are:o ).

Or you could get your local exhaust place to do it.........IIRC Manny got his local place to do for him. The cat back is not particularly difficult; took Jabba no more than 30 minutes to do my Jetex and it was the first one they had fitted.

Only need 2 of us to get a 15% discount!

So we have 6 from Athens. We need the 20% discount, otherwise we have to reconsider it.

But we have to check also if Disco or AmD are able to ship the parts in Athens. The packaging has to be very very well done in order to have the parts in excellent condition.

6 items from Greece.

3 items here (possibly 4).

So we would need JUST another ONE to make the 11 items to get 20% from Disco.

I assume you guys in Greece are willing to pay the extra shipping costs?

Also I don't believe Milltek I'm not sure Milltek sells the sports cat on it's own.....I think it's dp and sports cats. Is this a problem?

shipping costs - well, if we want the Milltek system, we have to pay for shipping ... :( . Although there are some very good exhaust makers here in Athens, we believe that the Milltek quality is superior.

Audi sports cat - we have to check this. Disco can give us the answer I think.

Just had a look at the Milltek site and they do apparently have just a sports cat fo rthe A4.....do know whether this is for the new A4 or whether is matters.

I guess it's a case of calling them and asking.

Does Milltek have anything for the Superb? I know there is nothing mentioned in their site, but perhaps Disco could ask them.
