Cruise control installation

Featured Replies

Hi

I have Skoda Octavia Combi, Ambiente, year 2009, 1.9.

It does not have a cruise control. How can I check if there is already pre-prepared hardware, and if I can only replace the arm for cruise control...?

Thank you

Just need to check the part number of the steering column ECU. Easiest with VCDS.

Thank you Tech1e!

...what if I do not have access to VCDS?

Any more detailed info what should I do to check if it is compatible and what is the procedure to replace it...?

I'm looking to add cruise control onto my car. I have a scan of what steering controller my car has, will I need to get a new controller with this controller currently fitted?

Part No SW: 1K0 953 549 AF    HW: 1K0 953 549 AF

Thanks!
