Gumtrees a nightmare with spam and scams ive heard. So im steering clear of that particular one . 

 

I've had it on 'The Bike Bay' for the last few days (its a facebook page which has 30k members) and nothing. 

 

 

I'll start it as a bid, then if i get a PM i tend to settle outside of ebay and cancel the listing haha. its nearly free that way

Good luck with the sale though.  They are quite a popular bike so selling shouldn't be a problem, just getting the asking price as everyone wants everything for nowt these days.

As Chris has said, good luck with the sale mate, I suspect it will sell very quickly judging by the condition I've seen in your pictures.

Its just the wheels that are makin me abit doubtful. I should have had them done in black really. Would of made it more oem looking.

Hmmm, k1200....i wouldn't. There were very significant upgrades to the 1300, mainly the engine. The company I work for undertook the k1300 project for bmw.

I wouldn't touch a 1200 with a bargepole.

A few years ago I ran 3 bikes - race bike for 2 years to get it out of my system on a track, touring bike and a sports road bike.

I just never used the 2 road bikes and went back to 1 bike and never rode so much.

Yeah. Good for a second bike if you dont do too many miles on it i guess. Just gotta think of resale value i guess, and how easy itll be to shift on when you've put a few more miles on
