I wonder how long it'll be before they start charging for a manual as an option, over the DSG?

Not going to happen. They will always charge less for a manual, if its an option.

Jags used to be auto box only on the old XF. Come the XE and new XF, and a manual box is introduced. You end up paying more for the auto, despite, if anything, the manual being the new option.

    Have you tried Skoda UK to see if it's too late. Depends on how far down the build list it is. Could be the dealer trying to drag more money out of you (as if)
