I collected my brand new Skoda  Superb III last Saturday from dealer, same day, later on after approx 50 miles in rainy condition I spotted that my front headlamp steamed up. (as seen on pictures). Contacted next day the dealer regard my issue and awaiting explanation from service dept. 

Did anyone had same problem?  some advise....

 

I am going to the dealer today so hopefully they will explain and sort it out this.

This is normal and expected. It has been reported a few times on this forum.

Yep normal practise - cold outside and warm inside.

If they don't offer a solution then I would suggest putting a couple of silica gel bags inside the unit which should help reduce moisture inside the headlight

Same with mine when I collected it in mid January, completely gone now, hopefully yours should behave the same way.

Thanks for your answers. I will put update here what dealer will say to me this afternoon. I hope that condensation will go away as you are not expecting this kind of thing in brand new car.

The same thing happened to mine when new but it disappeared after a week or two, never to return.

The headlight is ventilated, not sealed so no matter what you do if there is a wide temperature variation it will happen. It's even mentioned in the user manual. Most modern cars have the same unless the light unit is completely sealed. If it starts to get water pooling inside then Skoda will change it.

Every car I have owned since they stopped fitting glass front lenses has had condensation at one time or another. I gave yet to have one that was so bad it needed replacement. A bit of heat soon clears it up.

airflow will fix it.

Get it on my Golf too it sorts its self out.

Units are not sealed.
