I wonder if anyone could tell me , what the cheapest Octy vRS would be selling for nowadays (only stipulations , must be UK spec , must have 17s and be a hatch) I want another one coz the Galant is boring me to death , even tho it looks nice! And yes , I havent even made the 1st finance payment on it! Id really need it to be a Y reg so I can get my PPlate back....did someone say 6 grand?...LOL (i wish)

Duncan you can use your plate on any car newer than Y reg.

Thanx for all your replies guys , i too found that 80K miler on the Autotrader Website!! I think its gonna be a while before I can afford another vRS (and altho i like the other 1.8T powered Octys , its still an RS or nothin for me , im afraid!) I think nearly 8 grand for that car is a grand too dear tho! My old Slxi has just been traded back in at my dealer and its up at

Perhaps you can persuade the dealer to sell your old RS back to you.

Where have I heard that before?;)

Well id LOVE my old RS back , but its owned by one of the salesmen who loves it to bits and probably will keep it ages (it even still has my plate on it , he cant afford to put one of his own on coz hes just bought a house) Everyone in town still says things like "Saw Guy driving your car before" and i get txts from ppl saying " Just saw Guy in your car , it still looks good!" no one calls it "Guys car" its still Duncans Car! (oh and do i wish it was)
