Have you got the '230' decal on your 230?

Featured Replies

Just wondered if VRS 230 owners went for the '230' decal on their car. I'm not normally a decal person, but I think this looks really good

I shall await 230 owners comments  :x

Mine came without...

Mine came without ..

..which was fine with me as i'd have taken them off anyway :)

doesnt it Just!! Haha!!

That 230 decal looks awlful, very much cheap and aftermarket, you would have thought they would ahve gone for something in the vRS badge on the boot instead

I'll let you know in a month, although I plan on removing it.

If its a free add on, then you've got nothing too loose. If you don't like it when you get it you can peel it off. At the end of the day its what you think that matters, not other people.

I don't see how only opinion of only "230" owners as peers counts tbh, you can ignore the opinions you don't like but doesn't mean you are joining an exclusive peerless club where no critique is expected from any others lol.

Its oddly placed, **** / wrong style font and colour, even if you forgive the font, just the wrong place as has been said above, should be on the back (but in about half the size). Its way too max power for my liking.

The Octy vRS is shouting in caps enough, it just doesn't need to add to that with that font. Its just trying too damn hard to be honest.

Also with 230 stickers you'd be looking pretty stupid when a standard looking livery Superb 280 comes along and beats you in the dust sans any lairy stickers lol.

Obviously the package though it offers on top of the standard 220 is a no brainer though, no contest, no one would dispute, fantastic extras on top of the 220 ( like I have, and does leave me somewhat numb thinking the 230 is the car my 220 could be in the areas it improves).

I'd have one in a heartbeat for what its worth, but I wouldn't want those stickers.

Yo do realise if you remove the sticker you will lose 5 BHP  :D

If you haven't, you can get one on ebay........if you wish that is. £12.00 each I believe (not that I've looked).

One-upmanship on the 230 sticker, just go for it lol

I think it was revo wasn't it that did silly figures on stage1-3 ?

Their stage 3 based on the IS38 turbo in the golf is just plain silly, take the number from the 230, add 100, and then half again lol

In fact just draw a vertical line centrally on the bottom horizontal of the 2, and remove the first curvey part of the 2 would about do it:)

That would be really stupid I think on a 220 ( like mine, standard 2 wheel drive! ) but doesn't the 230 practically have more or less similar running gear to the Golf R with it's e-diff ?

So at very least could run the same, and a bit more, power without any trouble whatsoever ? If anythign I think Skoda went a bit too conservative with the 230.

Once again, put firmly in place by VW.

True but will also add £50 to the resale value.

Similar to the GTi with performance pack, not the R.

Sorry yes its 4wd isn't it, it will never be the same, the 230 is never going to be that, thanks. I was confusing potential power with drive.

Iits more similar in comparison then to the 276bhp cupra performance pack ? (if you mapped it with stage 1 that is).
