I have the attached picture from an Island off the coast of Ireland, it consists of 4 pictures I stitched together (each picture is 2560x1920, the stitched one is 8185x1830). I know on screen the stitch marks are fairly noticable but when printed they are actually okay.

What I was wondering is if anyone thinks they can do it BETTER ? I have the original shots.

The reason being is I want to print it out for my Mum (she was born there), and put it in a frame. My plan was to print it approx 8-12" high by the equivalent length (roughly 36-48").

I know theres plenty of photoshop Masters on here (and too be honest I'm useless at it). The stitched version I done ain't too bad actually printed out (I printed one of the stitched areas on A4, but want to make sure its okay before I print it).

If your interested in trying PM me your email address and I'll send you on the pictures.

Thanks

I only have dial up at home (I'm in work at the moment :D ) so I sent the pictures to BPM who said he'll host them for me. I sent him 3 sets of pictures (with 4-5 pictures in each set), I found folder 3 to be the best.

I also sent him my effort of stitching them. So he should put up the link to them all later (as he's ripping the car apart at the moment  :) )

I'll have a play, although the 1st one doesnt look that bad.

Ripping the car apart ??? Well yeah... I've got two amps sitting in the sitting room awaiting re-installation after a "fact finding" mission to try to find my dreaded alternator whine coming from my speakers.. still no joy :(

Anyway... Gaff's pics...

Have fun.

Doesn't look too bad Colm but SWMBO says if Mannyo can't blend the pictures a bit better for you, she'll have ago. She works in DTP so it wouldn't take her long to work a bit of photoshop magic on it.

Gaff,

I have managed to reduce the dark edges at the transition, although its difficult to totally remove from the water. What do you think.

I got some photo paper, end of a roll so I can cut it to the desired length :) Hopefully the printer can be set up for something 48" long :D
