My missus is in for an op today on her internal bits - so I'm in a similar position but without the bruised knackers.

Filling me with confidence now.

Dad said he was under local and drove home straight after. I guess it affects different people in different ways.

I always thought I'd need generals at the dentist for ops, but in time you realise locals aren't that bad.

i had a local and a general. just had a look, my balls are black lol but as for the pain i left the hospital and drove a 150 mile round trip to pick up mrs

daddy2coulls son who spent xmas with his dad.

i felt fine yesterday, now i just ache and i'm a bit tender.

the doctors and nurses in the hospital were excellent and i couldn't have asked for better treatment or care

Glad it went ok, had mine done ooo about 6-7 years ago, had a really bad one, got badly infrected, not myt own fault I think the clinic wasn't the best TBH, should have got to the hospital and had it doen, spent a week in hospital & understand why baboons have so much trouble walking LOL, lets just end on the note that it wasn't nice and I learnt a few things about doctors, scans and having my bits squeezed.

After a week of harsh antibiotics I was fine .

Had mine done 2 years ago in Runcorn, it took 12 minutes from walking into the cubicle, so short that the mrs accused me of whimping out

Never felt a thing, Swelling was gone in about 3-4 days and then no more unprotected burying of the beefy bayonet until the results are back.

Unusual sensations include an uncomfortable pulling feeling as the tubes shorten, and occasionally slight discomfort as they come under pressure, also a strange itching of the scrotum sometimes afterwards. Doesn't happen every time, and does tend to fade with time.

Had mine done 11 yrs ago, via 1 cut. However, the local did'nt fully work for the "hook through to cut" side, so further locals and then not too bad. However, because Marie Stopes did'nt stitch then, it did'nt seal and ended with me sitting in a pool of blood on the sofa.

Anyway, all sorted and well worth the pain.

Note to remember, you will need to send them 2 samples in around around 12/13 weeks and the second around 14/15 weeks. To make sure you're a jaffer and to empty all reserves you will need to "excersize" the equipment to drain down. I was advised something like 30"emissions". The more times you shoot, the greater the chance of your second sample being clear, freeing you to do as you wish without pregnancy risk.

Only when the second/final sample is declared jaffer can you be free.
