Some new wheels for track days picked up, Ultralite Atec 16" Alloys finished in bronze, few nicks and scuffs but they're perfect for what I wanted them for, the centre bore is 73.1 so will order some Spigot rings and they're then good to go

With a little help from Updown, the wire's been tapped into the W8 wire so it only comes on with the lights on, so in short its not on 24/7

Is that for aero? If not its just gonna slow you down with weight

Reckon it'll help somewhat with aero, given there's nothing under the engine so the air going under the car probably has a bit of a rave before coming out the back

In other news got the Monte Carlo lights fitted after the car was cleaned with @BJB540

Footage from Snetterton back in Feb, bloody Civic got in my way for a couple of minutes at the beginning :dull: -

Need to get a new GoPro as mine overheated after pretty much one lap and stopped functioning, next plan on the cards is to raise the suspension (my passenger arch has basically been eaten alive, track tyres are 205 compared to the usual 185), swap the bump stops and replace the knackered rear shocks with KW ones, then it's off to the garage next week for the Cambelt and water pump to be done, my auxiliary belt has been making a racket for some time, so may as well get it all done in one go, I may have the clutch done too at the same time as it feels like it might be going.

If I have a midlife crisis in April, this topic may escalate rather largely, if I can get the time off I'll be doing Cadwell next month, about half an hour is a welding shop that does all sorts of stuff (been following their work on Facebook for some time) so I'm now toying with the idea of if I'll up there, having a 5 point harness fitted and having it done properly.

If u need somewhere to stay let us know B)

I'll come to Cadwell and passenger :D

I used to marshal at Cadwell. An interesting and exciting circuit. Leap over the mountain? Panel beat your wheel arches for the landing on your 16" race wheels.

Adjust the right height instead :) updates will come later when I'm home.

Well that took much longer than expected but it's done! :D

Ride height adjusted, rear shocks replaced and poly bushed the front top mount, I did have rear top mount poly bushes, however these weren't the correct ones, but it's a guess game because they don't make these sorts of things for the Citigo (the fronts are from a Golf MK4 iirc)
