................now we are leaving the EU I think I should ditch my plates with the EU & Stars on them...............and to make it worse my reg starts EU16 !!!

I'm getting some with the Union Jack on my new private plate   UK16 FKU

At this rate it'll be a union of two!

Business opportunity for someone to sell suitably sized yellow and white stickers to cover them up.

Told my dealer in 2009 when I bought my first Skoda NEVER to put EU plates on my car, and every car since he has put  fulfilled my wishes. No EU or union jack or cross of st George on my car just good old fashioned GB plates. F**k the EU !

There never was a quota to end.......

Ban, quota of zero. Semantics you know...

Guaranteed you'll get it keyed in days.

Or UK 52 OUT to reflect the voting results

Or UK 52 OUT to reflect the voting results

Shouldnt that be UK38 OUT then?

Considering thats the actual percentage that voted to leave.

I think the best plate for me would be PO57 PAT on a red Roomster :)

Well, using them rules would scupper any claims from Scotland. But those weren't the Referendum rules so it just sounds like sour grapes.

1- All I'm doing is adjusting a number plate to reflect the true figures. Hardly a case of sour grapes.

2- I have always said Scotland don't have a case for a new independance referendum as they have hardly been dragged out. Only Gibraltar voted overwhelmingly to stay. Saying that, there is no way we should be making such a big change on such a small percentage. It should require a larger mandate to leave. Not 38%. This isn't some small decision.

3- If these rules are good enough for the leave campaign (it was them who made it up), then surely it can be used the other way? If it is sour grapes, then strangely that applies to leavers and remainers.

4- I haven't said how I voted. I never voted remain. Am I leaver applying some common sense?

I feel that whichever way the vote went, any social or economical issues in the next few years will be blamed on the winners. In reality we Brits will keep plodding along with our stiff upper lips and tackle any issues while queuing in the rain for a cup of tea.

So what was the "real" % of remainers that voted? Less than 38% at a guess!!
