Myself and Bpm went into Phoneix Motors Bluebell today, they are after getting a Blue RS in. Wow, its much nicer than the pics. Up to now Bpm was a real hater of the front but I think he’s changed his opinion a lot since seeing it in the flesh. It reminds me of the Fabia RS front in the way it comes out at you. I like it.

We took a spin in it, I found that it was slower than the current one, but sure it probably hasn’t been run in yet (only got PDIed last night). It copes with speed ramps a lot better than the current one, a lot smoother over them. I didn’t really find too much road noise, but we weren’t going that fast.

I noticed that it is possible to disable the Passanger Airbag by a key in Glovebox, and a light comes on beside TPM & ESP buttons.

I finally took the plunge and ordered, I Went for the Xenons, 18” wheels, Sunroof, Met Paint, No Smokers Pack, Mudflaps all round and Cargo Net.

I was told possibly mid March delivery. And yes I’m going for the BLUE

Anyone know if the footrest is available in the metal like the pedals ? Maybe it was an Audi picture I seen a metal one on (I wonder would it fit the RS?)

Makes a change to see the blue on a demo -- all that I've seen so far have been the black.

That was a surprise I had a feeling once you saw the blue, you' be hooked.

I couldn't believe the blue was there, I was expecting Black.

One of the lads is getting a Combi in Blue in a week or two, were in the queue for a look Then BPM will be straight down to the dealers:rolleyes:

Besides anyone who has talked with you recently knows that there's a A4 binder in the boot of the car with all the new car's propoganda!

Blue is definently the colour, looks really nice there, the interior and seats looks stunning, really impressive.

Having driven the MK5 Golf I'd be suprised if it is actually slower "in the real world" than the old remapped VRs. May not feel as fast but take a look at the speedo and think about how free reving it is in every gear - effortless acceleration and smooth power delivery.

The car in the pics looks stunning. I really, really like the blue. It's a shame I only got mine 12 months ago and we're buying a house this year otherwise I would be really tempted myself having seen those pics...

They were 17"s on the demo.

The demo in the pics was only PDI'd about about 12 hours before they were taken, So it still had a bit to settle.

The 17 Vs. 18 inch is going to be the same as the 16 vs. 17 saga on the old one....

The 18s will look nicer as the 17s did on the old one.

Nice pic's Gaff....in same car yesterday morning, just before I ordered the blue...with all the bling...., was in a black and silver one today in autostation, blue is deffo the colour....., Black one comming into Phoenix tomorrow with all the extra bling on it....so mosey on down and take a gander.....,
