Hi all,

 

does anyone know about SmartGate I have SmartLink working OK but have no idea if I have SmartGate or can it be enabled. I did  a scan for a WiFi signal as in the manual but cannot find one.

This is on a MIB2 Columbus

They're two separate products on the options list so it could be that you only have SmartLink (Android Auto, Apple Carplay + Mirrorlink)

From what I've read, SmartGate requires extra hardware that talks directly to the canbus ECU (I think it's fitted under the seat, but could be making it up).
