As I'm new to this Skoda thing. I did not realise that 3v and s3 is the same. Therefore, I do not need any assistance at this moment.

They are H8 bulbs, take a look here for a full list

 

Unfortunately the 280 cannot use these as there is an intercooler in the way (the LED’s are quite bulky) which is a shame as they really are good.

I suspected that there wasn't much room. The new bulky LED lamps are extremly good but as you say, bulky due to the cooling on the back side of the bulb.

I think I need to remove the fog housing and take a look.

Is there any good thread on how to do this?

Not seen a thread but it is covered in the handbook, they are pretty easy to remove as they just pull off.
