Hi guys and gals, having recently made the move to a MK2 PFL Octavia vRS, I was wondering what headlight bulbs people have seen the best improvement with?

TIA,

Rob

I'm currently running a uprated Phillips bulb which are ok, but I'm in the process of sorting a hid conversion. There's a thread in this section showing how's its done.

Did an HID conversion on my Fabia but thought it was advised against doing it on the MK2 Octavia?!

Yes you are correct putting HID kit straight into the car will cause you issues. have a look at the this thread by mikeholroyd, it shows how he has put HIDs into his & this is the method I am following.

Hope this help with your quest.
