SOLD *** 2011 Skoda Superb Estate SE 2.0L TDI DSG

Featured Replies

I’m posting this early – meaning I haven’t had the car pro-valeted yet and there is new MOT and service to be done on 8th March, so a full set of internal pictures will follow. I was also caught in a shower of rain today, but I’m sure anyone who’s interested in a 2011, relatively low miles, Superb Estate will have a good idea of what we’re looking at here.

Brunello Rosso Metallic (red wine)

Registered 27 May 2011 - a new 11 plate was fitted on 3 March after I removed my private plate. I now await the new V5 from DVLA.

One owner (me).

Only 51,000 miles.

Booked for new MOT next week so will be March 2018.

2 new badges for bonnet + boot are in the post as the old ones were de-laminating.

NOTE - these pics show it on 16” winter wheels and tyres, but these will be removed and the original pristine 17” silver Callisto alloys will be refitted soon. Continental tyres have only done about 8,000 miles.

Standard Specification includes:

Black alcantara trim, Bolero radio with 6 CD and SD card slot, aux socket in armrest, front and rear parking sensors, four electric windows, cruise control, cornering fog lamps, retractable parcel shelf, double floor boot with partition system, 12V sockets in rear seat and in boot, roof rails.

Extras:

Metallic paint, heated front seats, heated windscreen, heated washer nozzles, headlamp washers, 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel with DSG paddles, rear side air bags, rear door sun blinds, park assist system, sunset glass plus additional dark tint, auto dim interior mirror, keyless entry + start system (KESSY), mobile device interface (MDI) with iPhone 4/5 cable, tyre pressure monitor (TPM), temp spare full size steel wheel

17" Callisto Alloys refurbed in 2015.

Full service history - mix of main dealer and local garage:

25 May 2012 (dealer) first annual service 11,124

5 Jun 2013 (dealer) second annual service 13,987

28 Mar 2014 new windscreen due to stone chip

12 May 2014 MoT with new front discs & pads 23,435

6 Jun 2014 (dealer) third annual service 24,617

12 May 2015 second MOT 38,018

2 Sep 2015 (independent) oil change inc 4 filters & new rear discs & pads 39,472

8 Sep 2015 (dealer) DSG box oil & filter change 39,798

5 May 2016 (dealer) AC charge, new timing belt + water pump, third MOT 44,266

Now booked in on 8 March for MOT + oil change along with all 4 filters.

Good points - it's reliable, roomy and good to go. Never crashed. Never seen a dog or a cigarette. A 700 mile round trip last week returned 50 mpg.

Bad points - there's some minor rubbing on the outer cushion on the driver's seat. Must be the way I slide in and out. The fuel filler flap does not lock any more. After I found it seized shut one day, a nice Skoda technician forced it open, then I modified the flap to stop it ever locking again. I sleep easy now. There are a few small scratches on the tint film on the rear and side window where a careless person recently borrowed the car and allowed some stuff to move around in the boot. There are a few of the usual minor car park marks and stone chips, but it’s booked in to a body shop on 13 March for a touch up, polish and valet.

Looking for £7,500 ono.

16 March - now gone to a good home. Thanks for looking.

Lovely car but currently a lot further than I want to travel.

Does it really have an electrically heated front screen like the Ford type thing ?

It's just a hop.  I drove further last week just to see some cars (Stoneleigh Park).

And I collected our other car from the south coast last October.

And yes, it really does have an electrically heated windscreen. Once you've enjoyed a hot screen on a cold morning, you never want a car without one. I'm sure my good lady fired her one up this morning. Clear screen in seconds without scraping. And it can be enjoyed all year round of course, just like hot seats.

And has just had standard 11 registration plates fitted courtesy of DVLA update.

Looking forward to seeing the photos once valeted, especially with the summer wheels refitted!

I am leaning towards a well spec'd Superb like this as my next car but as I only do 6k year, it's petrol all the way for me.

Good luck with the sale!

Quick sale!

Was a great buy and had it been closer or still for sale in a few weeks I was considering the trip up north. Hope it went to a good home perhaps in the Briskoda family?

Good to meet you today, car is great. Thanks very much
