Hello guys,

 

I was wondering if anyone knows the modifications via VCDS or OBDEleven to activate US blinkers and modify the intensity through the infotainment menu. Please share   

 

 

PS: i have a VRS 2014 with MIB1

Adding US blinkers is already in the main tweaks section.

However it doesn't add the menu on the dash, you you need that really?

Sorry, no help but GOOGLE,  'AUDI direction indicator delete / reactivation'.  

(May require driver input by using the indicator stalk..)

I saw that the activation of us blinkers is already in vcds adaptation. i activated them. i need that extra option to turn them on and off for the simple fact that in my country are not "very" legal

Awayoffski was suggesting that Audi drivers don't usually bother indicating changes in direction - probably because they are already in the back seat of the car in front.

What I hate is US blinkers ON and rear red blinkers! Why they need to be special? And those res blinkers are F*cking confusing!

I find that I quickly get used to them when driving over there - but I think that "the rest of the world" solution for direction indicators is much clearer - and that is supposed to be the point, isn't it?

Yes! I mean red blinkers when hazards are turn on confused me I wasn't sure if some on was pressing and releasing brake like a noob driver in distance. And the it was a broken car on the side. WTF moment for me?

 

Red light is for position and break! Blinker is orange for a reason to be easier distinguished and so theres no confusion. Like why they have to be so special?

 

And that horrible orange light on front lights! Ahh!

This only works with handbrake disengaged and the doors closed.

If you want it to work independently of handbrake state leave the C0 and C1 with "Nicht active" option.

Yes..for both of the front..and the adjustment is under light settings

I'm having problems doing this. I've tried twice now and resetting the headunits but nothing. 

 

My vrs is a 2014 with the big head unit upgrade

I have the same problem with my vrs 15 also i checked it twice but the only thing i dont find is the first ambiente_applikastionleiste in instrument tafel on installed moved does any one know wich number it is of where i can find it.

How to add only adjustment under the lights settings . I have no led, just normal lights so all this costing is not working for me

Hope this works like it does in the video above 

I did it on my skoda from 2015 and it works fine for my only you must search good for the ambient lichte adjusment in the app
